Google has reintroduced Project Starline as Beam— a 3D video calling system that makes the person you're talking to appear life-sized and right in front of you. Using AI, light field displays, and depth cameras, Beam is now more compact and ready for real office use. Co-developed with HP, it's being tested by companies like Salesforce and Duolingo. Features include screen sharing and live translation while preserving tone.

Still, until it fits into a regular monitor and budget, mass adoption remains a future goal.

That’s exactly what Central Railway did with its smart idea — Lucky Yatri Yojana🚆💡

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺

Every day, Mumbai’s local trains carry over 40 lakh people.
But around 8 lakh of them travel without tickets.
That means a huge loss of money — every single day.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Instead of only punishing rule-breakers, they did something different —
They rewarded honest passengers!

🎉 For 56 days, Central Railway gave:
✔️ ₹10,000 daily to one lucky person who bought a valid ticket
✔️ ₹50,000 weekly to a regular rule-follower

💰 Total Rewards: ₹9.6 lakh
💡 If just 10% of ticketless travelers start buying tickets — the system could save ₹4.5 crore!

This is more than a campaign — it’s a smart nudge to do the right thing.
Because sometimes, rewarding honesty works better than punishing dishonesty.
