ಧನ್ವಂತರಿ ಬಾವಿಯು ವಾರಣಾಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯ ಮಹಾದೇವ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವೆಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ನೀರು ಔಷಧೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಲು ಈ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಧನ್ವಂತರಿ ಬಾವಿಯು ಶತಮಾನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರು ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಧನ್ವಂತರಿ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದರಿಂದ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ರೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಭಕ್ತರು ನಂಬುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ವೈದ್ಯ ಧನ್ವಂತರಿ ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಆಳವಾದ ಧ್ಯಾನದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಈ ಬಾವಿಯು ಔಷಧೀಯ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಈ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರು ಅನೇಕ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜನರು ಈ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Dhanvantri Baavi is located within the Mrityunjaya Mahadev Temple in Varanasi. It is considered a sacred place, and the water here is believed to have medicinal properties. Many people believe that drinking this water can help cure various illnesses.

It is said that this well has existed for centuries. The water of Dhanvantri Baavi is believed to heal diseases, purify the soul, and bring internal healing. Devotees believe that drinking or bathing in this holy water can provide relief from many ailments.

According to local belief, Lord Dhanvantri, the divine physician, performed penance at this site. As a result of his deep meditation, the well acquired medicinal powers. It is widely believed that the water from this well can cure several diseases, and people eagerly come to drink it or carry it home.
