A country facing multiple forms of instability—including the growing threat of the drug mafia—has decided to step forward to protect its next generation. 🇺🇳

Yet in a country with one of the world’s richest cultural heritages, Meta’s platforms can seemingly become a space where people post sexually suggestive content, bedroom scenes, bathing or changing videos, spread abusive claims and misinformation about others, misrepresent government policies, and even use social media to provoke public unrest.

But when the Prime Minister himself became a target, action finally seemed to follow. 😏

Will this lead to meaningful accountability—or just another round of warnings and advice?

🚨 | Ink Attack During Jharkhand Student Protest

A political controversy erupted in Ranchi after a man allegedly threw black ink at AISA president Neha Bora during a student protest march towards the Jharkhand Assembly on Friday. Police detained the accused shortly after the incident.

The protest was linked to demands over alleged irregularities and paper-leak concerns surrounding the JPSC Civil Services and JSSC-CGL examinations.

Bora alleged that the attack was politically motivated and said she would not be intimidated. She described the ink as something she would “wear with pride” while continuing to stand with protesting students.

The man accused of throwing the ink reportedly said he opposed Bora's support for Umar Khalid and described her and other protesters as “anti-national.” These are the accused's claims, not an established finding of fact.

The incident has intensified debate around student protests, examination transparency, political confrontation and freedom to demonstrate in Jharkhand.

Poland is strengthening the legal protection available to border guards, soldiers, and police officers when dealing with violent or forceful attempts to cross the country’s border.

Under the rules, firearm use may be permitted in specific circumstances, including self-defense, threats to life or health, and direct attacks on the state border during an illegal crossing.

The issue has drawn particular attention along Poland’s Belarus frontier, where border personnel have faced violent confrontations and growing security concerns.

A country has the right to protect its borders, while the use of force must remain subject to defined legal conditions and accountability.
