Enjoy your delicious and authentic Assamese-style lafa saag with fish (Assamese-Style Recipe)

Ingredients:

- 1 bunch of lafa saag (Chinese mellow)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon mustard oil
- 3 tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2-3 green chilies, split
- Fish pieces (as needed)

Instructions:
1. Clean, wash, and chop the lafa saag into small pieces.
2. Heat mustard oil in a kadhai over medium heat.
3. Add chopped onions and sauté until pinkish. Add green chilies and sauté for a few seconds.
4. Add chopped lafa saag, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well, cover, and cook for 3 minutes.
5. Add water as needed, bring to a boil, then add fried fish. Cook until the saag is cooked and turns yellowish.
6. Serve hot with steaming rice.

Tips:
- Use fresh and tender lafa saag for the best flavor.
- Use fresh fish for good taste.
