Adapt, Improvise, Overcome!

One of the most valuable lessons in video production is understanding that no matter how much you plan, things might not always go as expected. That is why it is crucial to stay flexible, ready to adapt, improvise, and overcome any challenge.

During a shoot at a university, we were struggling to capture the money shot. After a long and tiring day, we decided to try something different and headed to the terrace to shoot some sports and dance scenes. As the sun began to set, an idea sparked—why not use the golden hour to create silhouetted shots?

What started as a simple adjustment turned into something special, resulting in the shots you see here. In the world of creativity, sometimes all it takes is a shift in perspective to turn a challenge into an opportunity.

As visual storytellers, we at Rambling Joint are always on the lookout for inspiring tales of perseverance and triumph. And the Graduation Day of the Elevate Women Incubation Program hosted by GINSERV was a treasure trove of such stories.

We were fortunate enough to cover this event, and it was truly a humbling experience to witness the incredible determination and grit displayed by the women startup founders who had successfully completed the program. Interacting with them and their mentors gave us a glimpse into the passion and hard work that goes into building a successful venture.

And what truly left us in awe was meeting the entrepreneur, author, technology visionary and philanthropist Mr. Vivek Mansingh. His words of wisdom and encouragement resonated deeply with us and we were honoured to receive an autographed copy of his book.

Attending this event has been a learning experience like no other and we are grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed firsthand the impact that initiatives like the Elevate Women Incubation Program can have on empowering women entrepreneurs.
