DySP Headquarters Doda Mr Ajay Anand Transferred from Doda; Felicitated by Ummied Charitable Trust for Outstanding Public Service

The executive body of Ummeid Charitable Trust led by Mr Khalid Mattu and Mr Farhan bid a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Ajay Anand, DySP Doda, who has been transferred from his present posting after rendering an exemplary tenure marked by dedication, discipline, and sincere public service.
During his tenure, Mr. Anand earned deep respect and admiration from the citizens of Doda for his unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, his transparent approach to policing, and his empathetic engagement with the community.
The felicitation ceremony, held in a cordial and emotional atmosphere, witnessed a farewell speech by Mr Farhan Rather who lauded his selfless contribution to the welfare of the public.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Khalid Mattu praised Mr. Anand for his professionalism and humane conduct in policing, describing him as “a true officer who worked with heart and integrity for the people of Doda.”

Guru Bhajan "Sath Guru" Released Today on Auspicious Guru Purnima.

Jammu – July 10, 2025 – The highly anticipated devotional song, "Guru Bhajan Sath Guru," was officially released today at the Bhagwan Gopinath Satsangh Mandal, Amar Colony, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. This special day, when disciples worldwide honor their Gurus and seek blessings, provides the perfect backdrop for the unveiling of this heartfelt tribute.

Kashmiri Pandit Youth Organize Milk and Roohafza Chabeel on Nirjala Ekadashi in Jammu

Embracing the spirit of selfless service and community solidarity, a group of Kashmiri Pandit youth organized a refreshing Milk Roohafza Chabeel (free distribution of sweetened water) today on the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi. The initiative, aimed at providing relief from the summer heat and offering a gesture of goodwill, took place near GMC Sarai, Bakshi Nagar Jammu.

The Chabeel was successfully organized by Sh. Muktesh Yogi, Sh. Ashutosh, and Dr. Rohit Koul, along with a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers from the Kashmiri Pandit community. They came together to serve chilled Milk Roohafza water to passersby, tourists and residents, offering a welcome respite on a day when many observe a strict fast without water.

Speaking about the initiative, Muktesh Yogi said"Nirjala Ekadashi is a day of deep devotion, and serving water to those observing the fast, or anyone in need, is considered a great act of charity.
Mr. Ashutosh said It's heartening to see our Kashmiri Pandit youth is coming forward to uphold the Kashmiri Pandit values and are contributing positively to the community.

Dr. Rohit Koul added that the event highlighted the community's commitment to cultural traditions and humanitarian service, demonstrating unity and care for all. The organizers and volunteers received appreciation from the public for their thoughtful gesture.

People's Hut Foundation in collaboration with the Indian Army conducted a “Free Medical Camp” at Government High School Sarote, Jammu and was supported by Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Jammu. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Ramesh Kumar Bhan (HM of GHS Sarote) and the main aim of conducting this medical camp was to provide essential free health care services to the villagers.

The medical camp themed “Mobile Health Clinic Program” saw an overwhelming participation where 348 patients availed the free services from the camp. In addition to medical consultation in Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dentistry,Physiotherapy, Pathology, General medicine, Oncology, Clinical Psychology the camp also provided free Allopathic and Ayush Medicines along with basic health screening and awareness about Nutrition, Hygiene and preventive care.

The Directorate of Ayush also participated in the camp and was represented by Medical Officers Dr. Dheeraj Raina,Dr. Sushil Kumar Bhat and Dr. Supriya Thakur along with other Ayush Staff. The medical camp provided medical services to the villagers which lacked basic medical facilities . A special ECHS service camp for the people and nearby villages was also organized by Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity under the guidance of Dr. Harmeet Singh, MD - Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity and Group Director Ujala Cygnus Emergency and Trauma in collaboration with People’s Hut Foundation It received a great response from the ex Serviceman.

Kanwal Krishan Peshin awarded “Plaque Meritorious Service”



Shri Kanwal Krishan Peshin I/C Divisional Fire Officer Jammu awarded with “Plaque Meritorious Service” by Resolvio Foundation which is a National Organisation of Repute. Kanwal who was initially appointed as Fireman and subsequently elevated to higher ranks from time to time, is a well-trained and professional fire fighter and has been performing exemplary service.

His flight to success has been because of his hard work and dedication in the field of fire fighting, fire auditing, search and rescue operations and public awareness regarding fire safety. He has attended a number of major fire incidents in life staking situations as a brave firefighter and with professional competence. The officer has supervised a number of major fire incidents where both life and property was involved and as a leader has derived mechanism on the operational grounds in such a way to counter these fires and save precious lives and property.

The officer was awarded as a recognition to his bravely by the Director of Resolvio Foundation, Mr. Suresh Kumar where in the fire incident he saved many lives during a fire fighting operation at Cold Storage factory wherein Ammonia Gas was leaking his brave efforts not only rescued the general public from the area but also the factory workers and owners from the devastating scene on May 14 2024.

Director of the Resolvio Foundation Sh. Suresh Kumar added that the officer along with discharging his normal duties additionally conducted fire auditing of various leading industrial occupancies besides as a part of public awareness programme has conducted Lectures, Essay Competitions, Mock drills, Evacuation drills in educational and other institutions. The officer has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance by way of effective management of the rescue/fire fighting operations, Exceptional teamwork and collaboration with other emergency responders during Amar Nath Ji Yatra, VIP visits etc. The officer, as a part of Public Awareness, has also written jingles and theme songs for promotion of the Fire & Emergency Services Department.

In recognition of the outstanding performance, professional acumen, sense of duty, honesty and dedication rendered, we are honouring Shri Kanwal Krishan Peshin, I/C DFO with this plaque Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day, 2025.

Yogi Apni Party Leader from Shangas Anantnag Aditya Tickoo Film Maker and CEO Sabhar Cultural and Welfare Trust and मुक्तेश योगी a young dynamic entrepreneur. Musical extravaganza KP Idol Season 7 held at Invitation Banquet Hall Roop Nagar Jammu

January 12, Jammu: Preserving art, culture and language, the artists of "Kashir Kalakaar Season-7" mesmerised audience with their stunning performances at Invitation Banquet Hall Roop Nagar Jammu, here today.The grand finale of this musical gala was organised by the "Athrot Cultural Foundation" and was supported by "Kashmiri Pandit Volunteers" "People’s Hut Foundation", "Martand KP Brigade" and "Sabhar Cultural and welfare trust". Meanwhile, in Junior (Singing) Vanshika Kaw got Ist and Naisha Bhat got 2nd Prize third prize was bagged by Deepak Sharma trophies and Kenzi Khoas besides Cash Prize from Hindu Society were distributed among winners. In senior (Singing) category, Nirmit Raina was declared 1st, Shruti and Daksh were adjudged second, Lavanya and Suhas Koul got third prize.The Chief Guest and other dignitaries honoured the winners and runners-up artists in various categories.
Apart from trophies and certificates, the winners were honoured by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries with cash awards and scholarships from Hindu Society LA, additional cash award of Rs 3000, 2000 and 1000 was presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders respectively to audience choice award winners. As an encouragement to these young community kids an amount of Rs. 5000 was given by Kirti Dhar from Shine India JK . The event was adjudicated by a panel of experts including Dr.Ramesh Nirash and Sandeep Koul Sunny who himself presented a wonderful song "Assi Chi Kunni Awaz" with Children as a special performance and message to the community.
The event was held under the overall supervision of Athrot team headed by Abhimanyu Peshin, Deeraj Pandit and Ayush Bhat. Arvin Tickoo, Pranav Pandita, Vikram Koul ,Dr Rohit Koul, Aditya Tickoo, Muktesh Yogi, Pankaj Bhawani were felicitated during the event . Pranav Pandita was the chief coordinator and Pankaj Bhawani presented the vote of thanks, while the proceedings of the programme were conducted by famous anchor PK Rain who is a philanthropist and a community icon. The jam packed Invitation Banquet Hall praised the organisers with standing ovations at 3 stages of the event Besides Season-8 was thrown open by Kanwal Peshin mentor of the group.
