Surrey Police is pleased to announce that, within the last hour, 15 year old Margaret Moloney (who went missing on Wednesday 20 September) has been found safe and well in Leeds by West Yorkshire Police. This was after she made phone contact with her family earlier in the day. An 18 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of abduction.

Inspector Blaine Rafferty, from Surrey Police said "I want to thank the public and media for their phenomenal support in sharing our appeal to trace this missing teenager, however I now must ask for Margaret and her family to be given the privacy and space to come to terms with what has been a very difficult time for everyone involved."

We have received pictures of our officers, who are carrying out valuable work to support local colleagues and residents in the hurricane-hit BVI.

Nine of our police officers from Surrey Police and Sussex Police are amongst a contingent of officers from a total of 14 forces from across the UK, who flew out to the BVI on September 10 to assist the local police.
