Bengaluru enters a new
era of growth driven by three major road
infrastructure projects that will reshape the city's
economy and connectivity. The Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) has already covered 82 km between Dabaspet, Devanahalli and Hoskote, with the
remaining sections either under construction or awaiting final approval. This ring road will unlock new industrial clusters, logistics hubs, and tech
investments along Bengaluru's outer belt. Next, the
Mysore Road-Magadi Road Major Arterial Road
(MAR) corridor is now complete, offering smooth
transit across West Bengaluru. This corridor is
easing congestion on city roads and improving
connections between key growth areas like Bidadi and Magadi. The third major effort is the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR), which has gained strong
momentum recently. Accelerated land acquisition,
environmental clearances, and tendering are
pushing the project toward ex*****on. Once
finished, PRR will create an essential outer mobility
ring, ease inner city traffic, support emerging
townships, and link new economic hubs around the STRR. Combined, the STRR, MAR, and PRR will form a vital development corridor around Bengaluru
driving growth in logistics, tech manufacturing, real
estate, and job creation, while providing much
needed long term traffic relief for the city..

A shocking case of road rage from Bengaluru has left the
city horrified. What started as a minor brush between a
car and a bike ended with a young man's death. Twenty-
six-year-old Darshan, a delivery executive, was chased and
crushed by a furious couple, Manoj Kumar, a martial arts
trainer, and his wife, Aarti Sharma. CCTV footage shows
the couple's car following the motorcycle for nearly two
kilometres before ramming into it, not once, but twice. The
couple allegedly took a U-turn after missing the bike the
first time, then hit it again in a fit of rage. After killing
Darshan, they fled, only to return wearing masks to pick up broken car parts and erase evidence. Police say this was no accident but a deliberate act of rage. Both have been arrested for murder, as the city questions how a small
traffic dispute could spiral into such horrifying violence.
