Bengaluru traffic police are rolling out a 50 per cent discount on all pending fines from August 23 to September 12. In a move to encourage citizens to clear their pending traffic dues, the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) have announced a limited-time 50 per cent discount on all outstanding traffic fines.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರವು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಇ-ಚಲನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ದಂಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶೇ. 50ರಷ್ಟು ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 23 ರಿಂದ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 12 ರವರೆಗೆ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದ್ದು, ವಾಹನ ಸವಾರರು ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ಅಥವಾ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಂಡ ಪಾವತಿಸಬಹುದು.

The Sowjanya r**e and m*rd*r case refers to the 2012 death of a 17-year-old college student in Dharmasthala, Karnataka. Her body was found near the Nethravathi river, her hands bound to a tree with her shawl. The autopsy revealed she had been r***d and strangled to death. The case sparked widespread public outrage and demands for justice.
