Haiti was hit with two massive earthquakes, reducing the already impoverished nation to ruins. More than a million people have now become homeless & numbers ranging from 150,000 to 300,000 people are feared dead.

The most affected by this powerful force of nature are the children, most of who were in school when the first quake struck close to 5 PM that fateful Tuesday afternoon. Many have lost all they hold dear, and although fast track adoptions made headlines everywhere, there are many, many more children who face a bleak future. They are the ones who need to feel the touch of love and the care that the world wishes to give the nation of Haiti.

The world is trying to help the people of Haiti in all that they can. It was hard to organize at first, and hard to start with, but the aid is slowly trickling in, and the necessary steps are being taken to change the lives of the people of Haiti who have been affected so much by this.

Many more have no access to food and water, and other essential supplies. And slowly after so many weeks, as the people of Haiti try to get a grip on what is going on in their own country, the world is trying to work with what is left of the broken Haitian government to bring stability and much needed relief to all those on the island.

Haiti has a soul, and it’s a soul of resilience. She has survived much, and dealt with disasters throughout her history. And the bravery and courage of the people there is just a testament to the spirit of the Haitian people.
There are stories of the strength and inspiration in the news. And everyday there is a fight for survival in this most unfortunate of times for all.

A world away, we are not strangers to tragedies or misfortunes. We try and, help all those in need and the people of Haiti are no different. There is no way in which we can truly feel the devastation that our brothers and sisters in Haiti are going through, but the least we can do is to pray for them and share our support through this difficult time.

We here at Neemtree Records empathize with the people of the island nation of Haiti, and would like to support them in any way possible. Here as a little gesture of our continuing support to the people of Haiti, we present a song titled “Faith Forever”.

A prayer that humanity shares with those distraught, and the hope that we have, that all who survive may embrace their new life with the courage and strength to endure all that they face. And more importantly that this, most sad and tragic of instances, may be used to change their world into one that may be filled with joy, peace and happiness especially for those young ones who may feel that there is no hope left in the world.
