Tech Mahindra has signed a long-term partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to create a new platform called Autonomous Networks Operations Platform (ANOP). This platform is designed to make managing networks easier for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and businesses by using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Instead of relying on traditional on-site infrastructure, ANOP will run on a hybrid cloud system that works in real-time.

ANOP uses Amazon SageMaker for building and training ML models and Amazon Bedrock for using generative AI. Thanks to these technologies, ANOP helps CSPs boost their Network Operations Center (NOC) productivity by over 50%, reduce field visits by 15%, and shorten repair times for network issues by 30%. It also speeds up network and service configurations by more than 30%.

Manish Mangal, Tech Mahindra’s Chief Technology Officer for Telecom, said, “Our partnership with AWS will help telecom companies streamline their operations, upgrade their networks, and create new revenue opportunities with AI and ML.”

Robin Harwani, Head of Telco Solutions at AWS, added, “By using generative AI, telecom operators can better manage their networks, reduce costs, and improve performance with real-time recommendations and automated problem-solving.”

Tech Mahindra is already rolling out ANOP for a major telecom provider in Europe, helping modernize network operations and automate processes globally.
