Andhakara Records is an independent, non-profit psychedelic trance label devoted to preserving and promoting the deeper spirit of underground psytrance.
Founded in 2018 by a brotherhood of dedicated psytrance enthusiasts, Andhakara was born from a shared journey of healing, transformation, and self-discovery through music. Bound by the profound impact that psychedelic sound has had on our lives, we created this platform to support artists whose work carries authenticity, depth, and purpose.
Our first official release, Anthropopopus – Organic Dark Rhythm, marked the beginning of a sonic journey into the shadowy and transcendent realms of psychedelic music. Since then, Andhakara Records has curated 25 releases, representing more than 25 hours of professionally mastered and published music from artists across the global underground scene.
The word Andhakara means "darkness"—not as something to fear, but as a sacred space of introspection, transformation, and rebirth. Our music explores the hidden layers of consciousness, weaving organic textures, deep atmospheres, and hypnotic rhythms that guide listeners inward.
We believe the dance floor is more than entertainment. It is a sanctuary for outcasts, seekers, and free spirits—a place where individuals are empowered to be unapologetically themselves, to find community, and to reconnect with their inner truth in a world that often rewards conformity.
Andhakara Records remains a non-profit initiative to this day. Every contribution and every rupee generated through our releases is reinvested directly into supporting artists and advancing the culture of psychedelic trance.
