16_68 ENG Kashyapa Physics Vedavyaasa Neural Exercise IKS 05
Indian Knowledge System is not just about Indian Mythology, Ramayana, Mahabharat and Veda Puranas. It contains thousands of siddantham or thesis which deals with all branches of science
The structure of all matter and atom was first visualized by a Maharshi called Kaanada also called as kashyapa in the 400 century BC. He provided the detail structure of atoms, kinetic energy potential energy all in his siddantham called as vaisheshika siddantham. it led to the birth of new field called ontology
Later Vedavyasaru spoke about Neurogenesis and Neuroplasticity and also about how brain gathers and process information in his yoga sutre in around 3000BC He formulated a set of neural exercises to be followed using the radiations of sun to trigger the neural sensors of human body and in turn trigger his intelligence. This set of exercises which is performed at the different positions of sun is what we call today as sandyavandanam.
This sandyavandanam was then further studies by many maharshis and were trying to establish control over the inner actions of body like heart beat, fat generation digestion etc and to control the involuntary actions in our body vedavyasaru proposed the theory of seven chakras
Through the seven chakras sahasara, ajna, vishudda, anahata, manipura, swadhisthadara and mooladhaara human inner activities could be controlled and communicated through the mind. This technique was further mastered by a sage called patanjali and that led to the birth of yoga
Nagarjuna started purifying metals and was the first to polish a diamond and changed it from a carbon stone to a precious gem.
chanakya proposed koutilya artha shaastra on business management and economics
Varahamihira was the first to create and study zodiac signs and then gave birth to the first calendar with zodiac signs which we call today as panchaanga.
So the contributions of indian knowledge system to the mankind goes on and on and in the next session let us discuss about the school of philosophies in India
