Bengaluru: Dec 30: A day after low intensity bomb blast struck
Bengaluru, the city police has arrest a Hindu teenaged boy for
sending out tweets claiming responsibility for the blast and also
threatening more bomb blasts in the Silicon Valley of India.The
arrested boy, police said, had created a fake account on the
microblogging site using the name Abdul Khan.
The nabbed boy claimed responsibility for Sunday’s blast in a series of
tweets, police said.One of his tweet reads – ‘I am Abdul the one behind
Bangalore blast yesterday. In 2 days 2 more blast. I challenge catch
me if you can. Police my foot. ISIS’.He had also tagged Union Home
Minister Rajnath Singh in a tweet whichreads – ‘
Hey ****…. Dekho 2 din ke baad fir blast karega…’
Abdul had warned on December 21 thathe would “attack” and “bomb”
alvas college in Moodbidri, Dakshina Kannada, if alleged ISIS
sympathizer Mehdi Masroor Biswas was not released by policeHe is a
first year engineering student of a college located on outskirts of
Bengaluru, police said.
Meanwhile, police said that boy’s parents are on their way to the
police station with documents showing that their son is mentally
disturbed and on medication. —
