The hardest part of traveling India wasn’t the chaos, the honking, or the culture shock.

It was getting the visa 🙃

I spent DAYS on the government website — pages crashing, photo rejected with no explanation, my card declined three times for no reason. I was panicking, running out of time before my flight, convinced I wasn’t going to make it.

Then I applied for my India Tourist eVisa through iVisa and it saved my trip. The whole process suddenly became simple — no crashing, no refilling the same page over and over, no week-long panic spiral.

So learn from my mistake: save the chaos for when you’re actually in India 😅 Don’t let the visa break you before you even get there.

Have you ever dealt with a visa nightmare like this? 👇

Did I get scammed? 😂

In Kochi you’ll have auto drivers telling you they will take you on a tour around Fort Kochi for just $1 (low season)

The only catch is it includes about 3 stops at ‘official shops’ where the drivers get a free voucher for fuel if they take tourists there. So like my driver said, just go inside pretend you are looking at stuff and then politely say you don’t want anything & leave - and driver gets a voucher WIN 😂

This is the best place in India 🇮🇳 for a woman traveling alone!

If you want to visit India 🇮🇳 but you’re scared to visit because of everything you see online, specially if you are a woman alone, I would 100% recommend you start with Kerala and land first in Kochi.

Fort kochi is honestly a perfect introduction to India for women traveling alone:
• Easy to walk around
• easy to find several safe options for food (Indian and western)
• really safe
• no scams
• easy for payments (card and cash)
• relaxed with western clothes so you can feel comfortable wearing even shorts, tops & dresses
• great health care if you get sick 🤒- I went to a private hospital for just 5€ and got super fast care, and they even assign me a lady from the reception to stay with me at all times and handle the paperwork, medication, and to walk around with me so I wouldn’t get lost inside 😅
• clean
• no uncomfortable staring
• nobody swarming around you asking for a photo with you
