It was two intense days of shooting in Ranchi (Jharkhand) with tight timelines, unpredictable weather, and constant movement between locations, from a factory floor to a nearby school, chasing moments wherever the stories were unfolding.

The experience was made richer by the people we worked with, collaborators from across the country and local vendors in Ranchi who helped us understand the place and its nuances far better.

And in the middle of all this, we were filming with small children too. That meant patience, slowing down before the cameras rolled, talking, goofing around with them, and sometimes simply waiting until they forgot there was a shoot happening around them. With children, you can’t rush honesty.

This project was part of a film series for - a Europe-based wellbeing company that designs and distributes acupressure products inspired by ancient healing practices. It also meant a lot to us because this was the third time they trusted us to produce these films end to end, making it a truly enriching experience for the entire team.
