Dr. Shiva Rajkumar or Shiva Rajkumar (Kannada: ಡಾ. ಶಿವ ರಾಜ್ಕುಮಾರ್) (born Putta Swamy) is an Indian film actor, producer, playback singer, philanthropist and television presenter best known for his work in Kannada cinema[1] He is the Eldest son of Rajkumar, Kannada cinema's most celebrated actor. During his career spanning more than three decades, Kumar has acted in more than 100 films.[1]
After
graduating in Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), Kumar made his debut screen appearance in Singeetham Srinivas Rao's Anand (1986). His first three films namely Anand, Rathasapthami (1986) and Mana Mechchida Hudugi (1987) all being successful, earned him the title Hattrick Hero.[2] His film Om (1995) is considered cult film and a milestone film in Kannada cinema.[3]
He has completed 28 years in film industry and has given several blockbuster movies. His films like Anand, Rathasapthami (1986),Om (1995),Janumada Jodi, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, A.K. 47, Jogi, Bhajarangi proved successful at the box office and considered also considered as cult classic movies in the history of Kannada cinema.
