Over June–August, The Crafts Council of Karnataka worked with artisans in Kinhal, Koppal, on an intensive two-month Design Development Workshop.

Moving beyond skill training, the focus was on design intervention, adding finesse and contemporary twists to traditional Kinhal painted woodware, while staying rooted in its 500-year-old legacy.

These reimagined pieces are now ready to be showcased in Bengaluru.
