Join us for a special conversation exploring the stories, skills, and resilience that shape India’s handmade traditions. Master artisans Rohit Rathod (.embroidery), known for his work with Banjara embroidery, and Rajib Maiti (), a Dhokra metal craftsman, reflect on their journeys, materials, and evolving practices. They will be in conversation with Suresh Bhagavatula (), Professor in the Entrepreneurship Area, IIM Bangalore (), who brings a deep interest in artisan economies and creative livelihoods.

Vedin works closely with grassroots weavers in Bardhaman, West Bengal, focusing on azo-free dyes, intricate thread counts, and striking motifs. To create beautiful, elegant garments that are truly one of a kind.

Gaurang Shah is a celebrated textile designer and revivalist known for his exquisite handwoven creations that blend traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
