A little beauty in my hands, and a little more gratitude in my heart. 🌹
Today, I find myself pausing to thank God, the Almighty, and the universe for the simplest yet greatest blessing of all, being alive.
For good health.
For a home, food, and the things I sometimes forget are blessings.
For the people I love, who are here beside me.
For another day to see, feel, love and simply be. 🤍
And yet, today, my heart feels heavy too.
My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the families in Nepal who have lost their loved ones, and to those still waiting, searching and hoping to hear from someone they love. 🕊️
I cannot imagine the pain of living with that uncertainty. May God give them strength, bring their loved ones home safely, and bring peace and comfort to every family affected.
Gratitude and sadness can exist in the same heart.
So today, I’m holding these flowers a little closer , grateful for this life, grateful for my health, grateful for my loved ones, and quietly keeping everyone affected in Nepal in my prayers. 🤍
