1919 ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್‌ 5 ರಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಹಡಗು ತನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಸಮುದ್ರಯಾನವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಈ ದಿನದ ನನಪಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್‌ 5 ರಂದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಡಲ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ, ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾವಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಡಲತೀರದ ಕಾವಲುಪಡೆಯ ರಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಣಾಮಗಳು.
