I'm Girish, co-founder of SG Studios with my better-half, Surabhi and we appreciate your interest in our brand. I was bitten by the musical bug at a very early age and my passion for singing, songwriting, and sound-mixing has only grown over the years. From recording on bulky old cell phones, I have now moved up to a well-equipped studio, only to realize that there is still a lot to be learnt. As
a musician, my vision is to capture sounds that are old and yet surprisingly fresh at the same time. In the process, I aim to contribute to the world of music, sounds that are far, far away from the cacophony of the current musical universe. Rahman, and in the genre of blues/pop, who better than the icon that is John Mayer. I was fortunate to start my musical career with Gunpowder Accounts; a kickass band based in Bangalore, and eventually stepped out into the world of solo and independent albums. My studio and I are also working with Songfinch; a US based mixing company, where we transform our clients’ themes into soulful compositions on a web-platform. We also work on jingles and related advertising scores for popular brands. Here at SG Studios, we also help upcoming film makers with ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement), Foley, sound designing and a whole list of other cool stuff. Thanks for stopping by!
