Hyderabad (Nampally Constituency): Indiramma Indlu LIG Housing Towers Flat Allotment Lottery Begins Under CURE

Hyderabad, August 28, 2026: The lottery process for the allotment of flats under the prestigious Indiramma Indlu LIG Housing Towers project, being developed under CURE in the Nampally Assembly Constituency, was formally launched today.

The Telangana Government, through the Telangana Housing Board, is implementing the project with the objective of providing quality, well-planned and affordable housing to eligible families.

Under the first phase of the Indiramma Indlu LIG Housing Towers programme, 480 flats are proposed to be allotted in each Assembly constituency. Nampally is among the 16 Assembly constituencies included under the CURE project, with the proposed housing site located at Red Hills, near Niloufer Hospital and the HMWSSB office.

The lottery programme was inaugurated by Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, AIMIM Nampally MLA Majid Hussain, Hyderabad District Collector Dr. Priyanka Ala, IAS, and Telangana Housing Board official V.P. Gautam, IAS.

The programme was held at Vets Garden, beside NICE Hospital in Shantinagar, Nampally Assembly Constituency.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that the lottery system is being implemented to ensure complete transparency and fairness in the allotment of flats to eligible beneficiaries.

The allotments are being conducted category-wise, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

In addition, a 20 per cent waiting list is also being prepared category-wise through the lottery process.

The Minister said that the programme marks another significant step in the Telangana Government's efforts to provide better, well-planned and quality housing facilities to people in Hyderabad.

He reiterated that the government is committed to providing quality housing to eligible families under the Indiramma Indlu Scheme, with the CURE Housing Towers project playing an important role in strengthening urban housing infrastructure across Hyderabad.

Hyderabad City Police
Press Release
Date: 27.08.2026

*Do Not Fall Prey to Quacks... Stay Vigilant!*

I urge the public to remain extremely vigilant and cautious regarding quacks (fake doctors) who are endangering the lives of innocent people in the name of medical treatment.

Committed to safeguarding public health, the Hyderabad Police are already cracking down heavily on adulterated food.

Recently, we have initiated special surveillance against quacks in the city who are endangering lives. We have identified 12 such individuals and taken legal action against them.

Lacking any educational qualifications or basic medical knowledge, these individuals impersonate genuine doctors. They indiscriminately administer antibiotics, steroids, and medications for blood pressure and diabetesโ€”along with injections and IV fluidsโ€”thereby putting patients' health at severe risk.

Their ill-advised prescriptions for prolonged medication use are causing serious damage to patients' lungs, hearts, and kidneys.

While our surveillance and strict enforcement against such fraudsters continue, the public should also take certain precautions before seeking treatment.

People should check whether the official registration certificate issued by the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) is prominently displayed at the reception of the clinics or hospitals they visit. Additionally, doctors' nameplates or display boards must mandatorily include their name, educational qualifications, and the registration number assigned by the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC).

If there is any doubt regarding a doctor's credentials, one can immediately visit the website 'onlinetsmc.in', use the 'Doctor Search' feature to enter their name or registration number, and verify their details. If the details do not appear there, they should be considered impostors.

If there is any suspicion regarding the treatment method or the staff's conduct, one should immediately seek a second opinion from other qualified medical experts.

If you receive information about the presence of fake doctors anywhere, I urge you to immediately inform 'Dial 112' or the nearest police station without delay, thereby helping to save the lives of innocent people.
