Driver Dies of Electric Shock in Uri

Uri: A driver, identified as Shakoor Ahmad, son of Mohammad Akbar, resident of Uranbowa, died after reportedly suffering an electric shock. He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Uri, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Selection trials for the Uri Chinar Cricket Club were held at Government Degree College Uri under the dynamic supervision of the Worthy Principal, Government Degree College Uri.

Dead Rats Found in Water Tank at Kakro Malla,Na**la

Residents of Kakro Malla, Namla have raised serious concerns after dead rats were found inside the water tank.

Residents said they had tried to contact the PHE Department earlier as well, but alleged that no action was taken from the department’s side. Despite this, dead rats were found inside the water tank again today, raising serious concerns about the safety and cleanliness of the drinking water supply.

Residents have appealed to the higher authorities to take immediate action and ensure a safe and clean water supply for the people.

🇮🇳 TEAM 360 | FROM OUR ALMA MATER TO KANDI PEAK 🇮🇳

Today, Team 360 proudly commenced its special Independence Day Tiranga Expedition from Government Boys High School Kandi Kaller, Garkote, towards the majestic Kandi Mountain, following Friday prayers.

The campaign, led by Chaudhary Emran Ashraf, Chairman Team 360, began from our alma mater with the blessings and support of our respected teachers and students.

🏔️🇮🇳 The mission now reaches Baayan Bhek!

Chief Guest, Chaudhary Rafeeq Blout, Ex-BDC Chairman, Uri, along with Chaudhary Emran Ashraf and around 30 members of Team 360, will proceed towards Kandi Peak, with the proud mission of hoisting the Tricolour at the summit of Kandi, regarded as the 2nd highest peak in the Uri area, at approximately 11,000 feet above sea level.

This is not merely a mountain expedition. It is a journey of pride, patriotism, youth, friendship and gratitude towards our alma mater.

🏫 Government Boys High School Kandi Kaller has given us an immense boost in life. The teachers of this institution have always encouraged, guided and supported us. Their blessings and belief in their students continue to inspire us to reach greater heights.

Today, as we move from the classrooms of Kandi Kaller towards the heights of Kandi Peak, we carry the love and blessings of our teachers, the enthusiasm of our students and the pride of our National Flag.

We are especially grateful to our Headmaster and all respected teachers, who appreciated this initiative and reminded us to always maintain the dignity and honour of the Tiranga.

The students of the school stood in two rows and applauded the trekkers, giving Team 360 an immense boost before the beginning of this historic journey. ❤️🇮🇳
