MVD KUPWARA ORGANIZES TRAINING FOR POLICE PERSONNEL FOR SEAMLESS IMPLEMENTATION OF PM-RAHAT SCHEME

A hands-on training programme for SHOs, DOs and Investigating Officers (IOs) of District Police Kupwara was successfully conducted today via Google Meet. The training focused on the effective use of iRAD (Integrated Road Accident Database) and eDAR (electronic Detailed Accident Report) systems to ensure the seamless implementation of the PM-RAHAT scheme.
Faisal Hussain, SDPO Handwara, and Atif Zahoor, SDPO Lolab, along with SHOs, DOs, and IOs from 11 Police Stations and 13 Police Posts, participated in the session. The training was coordinated by ARTO Kupwara, Mohammad Shafait. District Master Trainer Ibrahim Ahmad Shah presented on various aspects of the PM-RAHAT scheme and the specific role of the police department in its implementation.
During the session, participants received practical guidance on real-time accident data entry, report generation, and the timely uploading of information onto the iRAD/eDAR platforms. Emphasis was placed on accuracy, promptness, and coordination among stakeholders to facilitate the quick processing of claims and the delivery of benefits under the PM-RAHAT scheme.
The programme aimed to strengthen institutional capacity, improve road accident data management, and enhance service delivery to victims and their families.
