Baramulla Sports Fraternity Organizes Grand Sports Convention to Promote Football

Baramulla, June 7: The Baramulla Sports Fraternity, led by Mr. Zubair Ahmed Dar and Mr. Irfan Ahmed Rather, today organized a grand Sports Convention at sherwani hall Baramulla aimed at reviving football activities and boosting the morale of young players in Baramulla.

On the occasion, football uniforms were distributed among four prominent football clubs of the town, namely Hyder FC, Hyder FC Blues, Islamia FC, and Islamia FC Blues. The initiative was widely appreciated by players, coaches, and sports enthusiasts.

A special Life Achievement Award was conferred upon Lt. Ghulam Mohammad Kuchay Sahib in recognition of his tremendous contribution and lifelong service to the game of football in Baramulla. His dedication and efforts towards the development of football have inspired generations of players in the district.

Several dignitaries and sports personalities were also felicitated with awards for their valuable contributions to football and their continuous support for sports development in Baramulla.

Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of Save Youth Save Future, attended the convention as the Special Guest and appreciated the efforts of the organizers in creating opportunities for young athletes.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Zubair Ahmed Dar stated that the main objective of organizing such conventions is to revive football culture in Baramulla, encourage youth participation in sports, and provide motivation to aspiring players. He emphasized that sports play a vital role in channelizing the energy of youth towards positive and productive activities.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment from the organizers and participants to work collectively for the promotion and development of football and other sports in Baramulla.

Workers and Helpers Join JKICDSWHA in Baramulla
Baramulla, June 07: In a significant boost to the organizational strength of ICDS workers in Baramulla, dozens of Sangnis, Sahikas, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) today joined the Jammu and Kashmir ICDS Workers and Helpers Association (JKICDSWHA) under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Scheme Employees and Workers Welfare Association (JK SEWWA).
The joining programme was held during a meeting chaired by Dr. Abida War, who welcomed the new members and emphasized the importance of unity and collective action for safeguarding the rights and welfare of ICDS workers and helpers. Senior trade union leader Mrs. Afshan Je was also present on the occasion and addressed the gathering.
During the meeting, participants discussed various issues concerning Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, including service-related matters, welfare measures, and the need for strengthening the organizational network at the grassroots level.
To further enhance the functioning of the association in the district, organizational responsibilities were assigned to several members. The leaders reiterated their commitment to raising the concerns of ICDS workers and ensuring that their voices are effectively represented before the concerned authorities.
