*Jammu (Rural) Police Solves Baglamukhi Temple Theft Case: Accused Woman Arrested, Stolen Valuables Recovered.*

*Jammu,20 Nov 2025*

Jammu (Rural) Police have successfully solved a theft case reported from Baglamukhi Mandir in a swift and professional manner. The case came to light after temple Pujari Keshav Verma reported the theft of gold ornaments, silver ornaments, and cash by an unknown woman.

Following the complaint, *FIR No.242/2025 was registered at Police Station Domana.* During the investigation, police team headed by *SHO Domana, Insp. Varuneshwar Singh assisted by PSI Amit Roshan* meticulously analyzed CCTV footage and acted on reliable inputs to identify the suspect.

The accused was traced and arrested. She has been identified as *Rashmi Rattan,Resident of Nitco Lane, Talab Tillo, Jammu.*

Stolen items, including gold ornaments, silver ornaments, and cash, were recovered from her possession.

The swift and effective action by Jammu (Rural) Police reflects their strong commitment to safeguarding religious institutions and maintaining public trust. Further investigation is ongoing.

KATHUA; 02 NOVEMBER;
Continuing its crackdown against drug peddlers, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* today recovered approx. 8.18 grams He**ine like narcotics at Phinter area of PS Billawar and two drug peddlers were arrested alongwith seized the vehicle(Van) involved.

On dated 02/11/2025 a Police team of P/S Billawar led by *SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SP Upper Kathua Sh Aamir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar* established a special naka at Phinter chowk for checking of vehicles . One vehicle (ECO Van) Bearing Reg.No.JK08K - 5624 was signalled to stop for checking , on seeing police party the driver of the vehicle tried to speed up , but alert Police party chased and stopped the vehicle. During checking two suspicous persons were sitting in the Van. While questioning they disclosed their name as
(1) Satish Kumar Khajuria S/O Asa Ram Khajuria R/O Tehsil Bhaddu Distt Kathua.
(2) Babbu Singh S/O Ram Singh R/O Dadwara Tehsil Billawar Tehsil Billawar Distt.Kathua.
*During their personal search* *08.18 grams of He**ine (chitta)* like substance and two Android mobile phones have been recovered from their possessions.Thereafter all the recovered consignment of drugs (Approx. 8.18 Grams He**in like Narcotics ) alongwith vehicle involved got seized and two persons arrested on spot.
In this regard a case FIR No. 160/2025 U/S 8/21/22/29/NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Billawar, further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages involved in the supply chain of drugs in the area.

*TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 23-10-2025:-*
*NH-44 (NHW)*
There was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to single lane traffic at *Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri-Dalwas and between Marog and Kishtwari Pather, in addition to the breakdown of 04 HMVs and movement of 06 nomadic flocks between Marog and Kishtwari Pather*.

*Goods carrier (HMV/LMV) Operators carrying fresh perishable/live stock* are advised to load their vehicle as per advisory issued by Traffic Police Headquarters time to time as there is single lane traffic and poor condition of road at *Balinalla, Dewal, Nashri-Dalwas and between Marog & Kishtwari Pather, also heavy movement of nomadic flocks on NH-44* .

Commuters are advised to *follow lane discipline; overtaking, wrong lane driving will cause congestion* . *Avoid travel on NH-44, if not necessary* , in view of heavy movement of nomadic herds.

Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, *LMVs Passenger/Private Cars shall be allowed from both sides* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz *from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.* However, *HMVs shall be allowed on alternate days* . TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing this traffic.

*CUT OFF TIMINGS FOR LMVs/PASSENGER/PRIVATE CARs: -*
To be released from: -
• *Nagrota (Jammu) towards Srinagar: from 0800 hrs. to 1100 hrs. &*
• *Qazigund towards Jammu: from 0700 hrs to 1000 hrs.*
TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about the traffic advisory and cut off timings. No vehicle shall be allowed to move before and after cut off timings.

*LMVs* going towards *Distt. Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban* *from Jammu* shall be allowed *from Nagrota (Jammu) between 0800 hrs 1100 hrs.* However, *LMVs* coming from *Distt. Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban* towards Jammu will be permitted to move but these vehicles must cross the *Nashri Tunnel before 1200 hrs.*

*HMVs/Load Carriers:-*
Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed *from Srinagar towards Jammu* . These vehicles shall be *regulated from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) towards Jammu* after assessing the road and traffic situation on NH-44 . TCU Srinagar shall coordinate with TCU Ramban regarding the movement of HMVs.

*SFs Convoy Movement:-*
Security Forces are advised/requested *not to ply against advisory* /traffic plan in view of possible traffic congestion because of *narrow carriage way at Balinallah, Dewal, Nashri-Dalwas and between Marog and Kishtwar Pathar* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. Tomorrow they may ply from *Srinagar towards Jammu* after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban.

*Kishtwar- Sinthan- Anantnag NH-244:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, after getting green signal from NHIDCL, only *LMVs shall be allowed from both sides* viz from Anantnag towards Kishtwar and vice- versa on Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road. These vehicles shall be allowed *from PP Parana towards Anantnag from 0800 hrs to 1500 hrs and from PP Daksum towards Kishtwar from 0900 hrs. to 1500 hrs.* as per order issued by SDM Chhatroo vide No. SDM/C/2025-26/530-37 dated 15-09-2025 and SDM Kokernag vide No. SDM/KNG/665-71 dated 16-05-2025.

*SSG ROAD*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, (after getting green signal from the BRO) traffic movement shall be allowed on regulated manner on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed *from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 0500 hrs. to 1000 hrs.* Similarly, *LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 1130 hrs to 1730 hrs* . *No* vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.
SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil and vice versa shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Civil Traffic (both UP and DOWN) don't get disturbed.

*Mughal Road:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, after getting green signal from Road maintenance agencies (GREF). *LMVs Passenger/Private Cars shall be allowed from both sides viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa via Poonch*. These vehicles shall be allowed *from Behramgala (Baffliaz) between 0600 hrs. to 1730 hrs and from Herpora (shopian) between 0600 hrs and 1700 hrs* as per advisory issued by District Magistrate Poonch vide No. DMP/J/9291-9318 dated 31-08-2025. *However, *HMVs six tyres only shall be allowed from Poonch towards Shopian*. No HMV will be allowed from Shopian towards Mughal road . TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about the traffic advisory and cut off timings.

*ADVISORY :-*
People are advised to undertake journey only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
