On Sunday, July 20, 2025, with the grant From MLA fund, Honorable MLA Abhay Patil, inaugurated the work of the protective wall at site 474, Hanuman Nagar Machhe worth Rs. 2 crore and 50 lakhs 🙏🚩
He also listened to other problems in that town and the surrounding area, the MLA assured that those problems would be resolved soon 🙏.

Pyaas Foundation and AKP Ferrocasts to rejuvenate century old well at Khasbag
Belgaum -
Belgaum city known as k***a nagari may face a water scarcity in coming summer. understanding the situation ,Corporator Mrs Preeti Khamkar along with the citizens of the ward requested Pyaas to rejuvenate the well at teacher's colony.
The well had been on a bad state for a long time and hence the local Pyaas will now desilt the well and reinforce the walls and the parapet to give it a stable lasting form.
Pyaas Foundation with CSR support from AKP Ferrocasts has taken up the project for rejuvenation of a old debilitated well in Teachers colony, Khasbag. The work was started today with a pooja led by the MLA of Belgaum South Mr Abhay Patil along with Mrs Preeti Khamkar, Mr Parag Bhandare Director of AKP FERROCASTS, Mr Vinayak Khamkar, Board Members of PYAAS FOUNDATION, and several citizens of Khasbag.
Once the project is completed the well will be fitted with a filter unit by the city corporation which will then provide a permanent solution to the water voes of areas in Khasbag including teachers colony.
The well built in British days in the year 1916 had lost its charm due to neglect but may now see better days.

Bengaluru : The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that 1400 new electric BMTC buses will be included in urban transport by next April 2024.

He was talking in the programme organized by Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation after launching 100 electric buses in front of east gate of vidhansoudha .

Till now, 120 crore women have travelled for free in State Transport buses. Around 40 lakh people commute in BMTC buses. Women belonging to all caste, religion and class are travelling freely, the CM said.

The BJP criticizes the free bus travel scheme. The CM questioned as to why did the BJP not implement such pro people scheme when they were in power?

The CM explained about the positive outcome of government’s pro people schemes saying that the purchasing power of the people in the State has increased and there is a boom in the financial activities which boosts the economy of the state. Farm and women labourers and women from the working class are able to save enough money. This is helping them to meet their other financial needs and has also increased the financial power of such families.

4.30 crore people are enjoying the benefits of the guarantee schemes. With the increased financial power, the poor and working class are being enabled to come into the main stream. This was made possible only after Congress came into power. The previous BJP government which has failed in achieving this are engaged in criticizing us.

Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad presided over th function and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, transport minister Ramalongareddy were present.

RDPR Minister Priyank Kharge, Higher Education Minister Dr. M C Sudhakar, Sports Minister Nagendra, Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, MLC U B Venkatesh, Chief Minister's political secretary Govindaraju, Nasir Ahmed and others were present.

"Darkness under the lamp" saying goes best with darkness in front of Hescom office at Belgaum.

Belgaum city is considered as the second capital of Karnataka. Hescom officials of Belgaum, Belgaum Cantonment Board and Corporation seem to disagree with the above statement, said Prasad D Kulkarni zrucc member South Western Railway Hubli Zone Belgaum and bjp executive member Belgaum Mahanagar.
Ignoring the street lights in front of Belgaum railway station, the street lights have been non-existent for the people travelling on this road.The problem is the same from the railway station to Postman Circle.
Surprisingly, Hescom's office is in front of the railway station and that's where the kingdom of darkness resides.
Traveling at night on this road has become very dangerous. Mr . Prasad also appealed to the concerned authorities to pay attention to the installation of street lights in front of the railway station and from railway station up to Postman Circle.

Street lights Installed in Tilakwadi Bhangi Passage:An initiative by Nitin Jadhav

In a meeting held with the citizens of Ward No.29 in Millennium Garden, Citizens Requested installation of streetlights in Bhangi Passage at Tilakwadi . Corporator Nitin /Jadhav promised that it will be installed as soon as possible and he fulfilled it within eight days.
Under the guidance of MLA Abhay Patil, and efforts of corporator Nitin Jadhav, Bhangi Passage from Somwar Peth to Shukrawar Peth in Tilakwadi have been completely cleaned and lights have been installed there. This is the first time that such a task has been implemented since the Tilakwadi area came into existence. Corporator Nitin Jadhav has appealed to the citizens instead of throwing garbage in Bhangi passage ,to use it as a service road for parking of two-wheelers, walking.
Citizens expressed satisfaction and thanked MLA Abhay Patil and corporator Nitin Jadhav for keeping their word.

Belgaum:
BJP corporator Abhijit Javalkar, who was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in connection with the fatal attack, was arrested by the Tilakwadi police and sent to jail. Two days ago, Abhijit Javalkar had objected to Ramesh Patil's illegal mobile tower construction.
On this background, a group of ten people including Ramesh Patil, a resident of the place, violently attacked him.
Against this backdrop, Abhijit javalkar filed a complaint at the Tilakwadi police station against Ramesh patil and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
After the protest by MES on Sunday afternoon, Tilakwadi police went to the hospital and arrested Javalkar.

Interestingly, while he was being treated in the hospital, the police took him away without discharging him. This has created a new controversy.
Former MLA Anil Benake said that the BJP has taken serious note of this and the BJP delegation has decided to meet the police commissioner tomorrow on 27th. He said that the BJP has decided to fight this battle at the state level.

Lamp lighting and Rangoli drawing program was held with a lot of enthusiasm at Hulabatte Colony, 3rd Cross, Belgaum.

With the aim of dispelling the darkness in the society, light lamps were lit on behalf of Hulabte Colony Mahila Mandal on Saturday evening. The entire area was illuminated by this light.

Mahila Mandal chief Preeti Kamat, Aruna Kakatkar, Aarti Sharma, Sanjana Raikar, Hungarikar, Netalkar, Sambrekar, Chaludkar, Heda and other Mahila Mandal members, and all the colony residents were present.
