Young Belgaum Foundation Fills Dangerous Potholes on Udyambag Main Road.
Belagavi, July 7 – The Young Belgaum Foundation took a big step towards public safety by filling dangerous potholes on the Udyambag main road, right opposite Purohit Sweet Mart. Over the past few days, this road had become very risky, with many people falling and getting injured because of the large potholes. Even after several complaints, no one came forward to repair it.
Seeing the situation getting worse, the Young Belgaum Foundation decided to take up the task themselves. With the help of local volunteers, they filled the potholes using temporary materials to prevent more accidents.
Allan Vijay More, President of Young Belgaum Foundation, was present at the spot and said,
“This road is used by hundreds of people every day, and it was in a terrible condition. We’ve done our part by filling the potholes for now, but we request the government to take this issue seriously and repair the road properly so people can travel safely.”
Many local residents and shopkeepers, including the team from Original Purohit Sweets, also joined in the effort. Avadhut P Tudavekar, Parashuram B. Manjalkar, Harsh Dhadve, Krishna V. K., Nyaneshwar Hambar, Omii Kamble, and Sai Shapurkar worked hard to complete the task.
People in the area thanked the Young Belgaum Foundation and the volunteers for their quick action. They hope the government will now take notice and fix the road permanently.
