बेलगाव – कंग्राळी खुर्द: ग्राप सदस्य व मराठा साम्राज्य स्पोर्ट्स क्लबचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष प्रशांत पाटील यांनी आपल्या वाढदिवसाच्या निमित्ताने मराठी शाळेतील ३०० विद्यार्थ्यांना ओळखपत्र, टाय व बेल्टचे वितरण केले. या उपक्रमाबद्दल सर्व स्तरातून प्रशंसा होत आहे.

हा कार्यक्रम १४ ऑगस्ट रोजी शाळेच्या प्रांगणात पार पडला. प्रारंभी जे.एस. पाटील यांनी सर्वांचे स्वागत करून उद्देश स्पष्ट केला. एसडीएमसी व उपस्थित मान्यवरांनी प्रशांत पाटील यांचा सत्कार करून वाढदिवसाच्या शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

सत्काराच्या वेळी माजी मुख्य टी.डी. पाटील, शाळेचे प्रमुख श्री कोलकर सर, ग्राप सदस्य केंपन्ना सनदी, एसडीएमसी अध्यक्षा मिनाक्षी मुतगेकर यांनी प्रशांत पाटील यांच्या विधायक उपक्रमाचे कौतुक करताना इतरांनीही अशा उपक्रमांचे पालन करावे, असे आवाहन केले.
Belagavi – Kangrali Khurd: On the occasion of his birthday, GRAP member and Maratha Samrajya Sports Club founder-president Prashant Patil distributed ID cards, ties, and belts to 300 students of the Marathi School. His thoughtful initiative has received widespread appreciation across all sections of society.

The program was held on August 14 in the school premises. Initially, J.S. Patil welcomed everyone and explained the purpose of the event. SDMC members and other dignitaries felicitated Prashant Patil and conveyed their birthday wishes.

During the felicitation, former head T.D. Patil, school principal Mr. Kolkar, GRAP member Kempanna Sanadi, SDMC president Minakshi Mutgekar, and others praised his initiative and encouraged others in society to follow his example by undertaking similar educational and social programs.

बेलगावी तालुक्यातील मुतागा गावच्या प्राथमिक कृषी पतसंस्थेकडून गेल्या तीन वर्षांपासून शेतकऱ्यांना पीक कर्ज न दिल्याबद्दल गावकऱ्यांनी निषेध केला. सचिन पाटील यांनी चार दिवसांपूर्वी उपोषण सत्याग्रह सुरू केला. गुरुवारी जिल्हाधिकारी मोहम्मद रॉशन यांनी त्या ठिकाणी भेट देऊन माहिती घेतली.

सचिन पाटील कडून माहिती मिळाल्यानंतर जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांनी दोषी अधिकाऱ्यांना नोटीस जारी केल्याचे सांगितले आणि शेतकऱ्यांच्या समस्यांचे निराकरण केले जाईल असे आश्वासन दिले. सचिन यांनी ठामपणे सांगितले की शेतकऱ्यांना पीक कर्ज मिळेपर्यंत ते उपोषण थांबवणार नाहीत.

उत्तर कर्नाटक जिल्ह्यातील कारवार तालुक्याच्या चित्ताकुल येथील आमदार सतीश सैल यांच्या घरावर ईडी अधिकाऱ्यांनी मोठी दहशत केली.

ईडीची छापा सुरू होताच, आमदार सैल यांनी आपला मोबाइल बंद करून अज्ञात ठिकाणी गेला आणि अधिकाऱ्यांच्या कोणत्याही संपर्काच्या प्रयत्नांना प्रतिसाद दिला नाही.

शेवटी, ईडी अधिकाऱ्यांनी सैल यांच्या नातेवाईक आणि अंगरक्षकांमार्फत माहिती मिळवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. अंगरक्षकांनी स्पष्ट केले, “सकाळी त्यांनी सांगितले की ते बेंगळुरूला जाणार आहेत आणि घर सोडले. त्यानंतर कोणताही कॉल किंवा संपर्क झाला नाही.”

घराच्या आत, सैल यांच्या आजींच्या उपस्थितीत ईडी अधिकाऱ्यांनी छापेमारी केली. ही छापेमारी सकाळी सुमारे ४ वाजेपर्यंत सातत्याने २२ तास चालू राहिली.
In Chittakul, Karwar taluk of Uttara Kannada district, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted a massive raid at the residence of MLA Satish Sail.

As the ED raid began, MLA Sail switched off his mobile phone and moved to an unknown location, making it impossible for officials to contact him.

Finally, the ED officials attempted to gather information through Sail’s close associates and security personnel. The security staff stated, “In the morning, he said he was going to Bengaluru and left the house. After that, there were no calls or contact.”

Inside the house, the ED officers carried out the search in the presence of Sail’s grandmother. The search continued continuously for 22 hours, until around 4 AM.

आशा सुलभकारांना योग्य वेतनासह कायम ठेवावे. निवृत्त आशांना पश्चिम बंगाल मॉडेलनुसार पेन्शन द्यावी, अशी मागणी गेल्या तीन दिवसांपासून जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयासमोर धरणे आंदोलन करणाऱ्या आशा कार्यकर्त्यांनी केली. गुरुवारी त्यांनी चन्नम्मा वर्तुळ येथे मानव साखळी तयार करून सरकारविरोधात निषेध व्यक्त केला.

शहरातील आशा कार्यकर्त्यांना २,००० रुपयांचे मानधन वाढवावे, अशी त्यांची मागणी होती. २०२५ च्या जून-जुलै महिन्यात केंद्र सरकारने जाहीर केलेली प्रोत्साहनवाढ राज्यात लागू करावी, अशीही त्यांनी मागणी केली.

गेल्या मार्चमध्ये झालेल्या राज्याच्या अर्थसंकल्पात अंगणवाडी व मध्यान्ह भोजन कार्यकर्त्यांना १०,००० रुपयांची प्रोत्साहनवाढ जाहीर करण्यात आली होती, त्याच धर्तीवर सर्व आशा कार्यकर्त्यांसाठी जाहीर करावे, अशी त्यांनी मागणी केली.

उद्या होणाऱ्या १५ ऑगस्ट स्वातंत्र्य दिनाच्या उत्सवाच्या पूर्वसंध्येला, शहरातील श्री गणेश मंदिरातून "हर घर तिरंगा" मोहिमेच्या अंतर्गत माजी आमदार सुनील हेगडे यांनी "हर घर तिरंगा" बाईक रॅलीला हिरवा झेंडा दाखवला.

माजी आमदार सुनील हेगडे म्हणाले, "राष्ट्रीय ध्वज सर्वत्र फडकू दे, भारताची कीर्ती प्रत्येक घरावर उजळू दे."

या प्रसंगी, भाजपचे दोनशेहून अधिक कार्यकर्ते बाईक रॅलीत सहभागी झाले आणि स्वातंत्र्य दिनाच्या जयघोषासह सर्वांनी एकत्र येऊन साजरा करण्याचे आवाहन केले.

कर्नाटकातील बल्लारी जिल्ह्यात एटीएम लुटण्याचा प्रयत्न करताना चोराला रंगेहाथ पकडण्यात आले. ही घटना कॅमेऱ्यात कैद झाली आहे.

रात्री पोलिस गस्त घालत असताना एटीएम बूथमध्ये संशयास्पद हालचाल दिसताच पोलिसांनी तात्काळ घटनास्थळी धाव घेतली आणि चोराला रंगेहाथ पकडून बाहेर काढले.

ही घटना बेल्लारीतील कलाम्मा सर्कलजवळ घडली, जिथे आरोपीने अ‍ॅक्सिस बँकेचे एटीएम फोडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. पोलिसांनी आरोपीची ओळख पटवली असून तो आंध्र प्रदेशातील अनंतपूर येथील व्यंकटेश नावाचा रहिवासी आहे.
In Karnataka’s Ballari district, a thief was caught red-handed while attempting to loot an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). The entire incident was captured on camera.

During night patrol, police noticed suspicious activity inside an ATM booth. They immediately rushed to the spot, caught the thief red-handed, and pulled him out of the booth.

The incident took place near Kalamma Circle in Bellary, where the accused tried to break open an Axis Bank ATM. Police later identified the accused as Venkatesh, a resident of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.

चित्रदुर्ग येथील रेणुकास्वामी खून प्रकरणात, सुप्रीम कोर्टाने गुरुवारी सॅंडलवूड अभिनेता दर्शन थूगुदीप याची मैत्रीण पवित्रा गौडा यांच्यासह सात जणांचा जामीन रद्द केला आहे.

यासोबतच, परप्पना अग्रहार तुरुंगात दर्शनला व्हीआयपी सुविधा दिल्याप्रकरणी तुरुंग अधिकाऱ्यांना निलंबित करण्याचे आदेश सुप्रीम कोर्टाने दिले आहेत. परप्पना अग्रहार येथे दिलेल्या विशेष आदरातिथ्यामुळेच ‘किलिंग स्टार’ला यापूर्वी बल्लारी तुरुंगात हलवण्यात आले होते. आता जामीन रद्द झाल्याने दर्शनला पुन्हा बल्लारी तुरुंगात पाठवावे लागणार आहे.

बेळगाव तालुक्यातील खराब झालेल्या बेळगाव -वेंगुर्ला रस्त्यासह अन्य रस्त्यांची येत्या 23 ऑगस्टपर्यंत ताबडतोब दुरुस्ती करावी. अन्यथा रास्ता रोको आंदोलन छेडण्यात येईल, असा इशारा बेळगाव तालुका महाराष्ट्र एकीकरण समितीने सार्वजनिक बांधकाम खात्याच्या मुख्य कार्यकारी अभियंत्यांना दिला आहे. बेळगाव तालुका महाराष्ट्र एकीकरण समितीचे अध्यक्ष माजी आमदार मनोहर किनेकर व युवा नेते आर. एम. चौगुले यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली आज बुधवारी सकाळी उपरोक्त मागणीचे निवेदन सार्वजनिक बांधकाम खाते बेळगावचे कार्यकारी अभियंता एस एस सोबरद यांना सादर करण्यात आले. अभियंता सोबरद यांनी निवेदनाचा स्वीकार करून श्री गणेशोत्सवापूर्वी लवकरात लवकर तालुक्यातील खराब झालेल्या रस्त्यांची दुरुस्ती केली जाईल असे आश्वासन दिले.

शहरातील अलाईड परिसरात कपडे धुण्याच्या जागी एक प्रचंड मगर दिसली.

आज बुधवारी दुपारी सुमारे १२ वाजता, हळियाळ रोडवरील अलाईड परिसरातील कपडे धुण्याच्या जागी १० ते १२ फूट लांबीची मगर दिसल्याने काही वेळ लोकांमध्ये भीतीचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले.

स्थानिकांनी तात्काळ वनविभागाचे अधिकारी आणि पोलिसांना माहिती दिली.

पोलिस व वनअधिकारी तातडीने घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले, मगरीला सुरक्षितरित्या पकडून परत काली नदीत सोडण्यात आले.

स्थानिकांच्या माहितीनुसार, मगर नदीच्या काठावर आली होती व परत नदीत जाताना संरक्षणाच्या कुंपणात अडकली.

कपडे धुण्याची जागा तिन्ही बाजूंनी जाळीने बंद असल्याने मगर स्वतःहून नदीकडे जाऊ शकली नाही.
A huge crocodile appeared at a clothes-washing area in the Allied area of the city.

Around 12 noon today (Wednesday), a crocodile measuring about 10 to 12 feet in length was spotted at the clothes-washing place near Allied area on Haliyal Road, creating panic for some time.

Locals immediately informed forest department officials and the police.

Police and forest officials rushed to the spot, safely captured the crocodile, and released it back into the Kali River.

According to local residents, the crocodile had come to the riverbank and got trapped in a protective fence while returning to the river.

बेळगाव तालुक्यातील मुतगा गावातील रहिवासी सचिन पाटील हे मागील चार दिवसांपासून उपोषण सत्याग्रह करत आहेत. कारण, गेली तीन वर्षे गावातील प्राथमिक कृषी पतसंस्था शेतकऱ्यांना पीककर्ज देत नाही आहे.

सचिन पाटील यांच्या म्हणण्यानुसार, संबंधित अधिकार्‍यांना विचारले असता, डीसीसी बँकेतून निधी आला नाही असे सांगितले जाते. पत्रकारांशी बोलताना सचिन पाटील यांनी आरोप केला की मुतगा प्राथमिक कृषी पतसंस्थेमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणात भ्रष्टाचार झाला आहे. गाव पंचायतीचे अधिकारी गेली तीन वर्षे शेतकऱ्यांना पीककर्ज देत नाहीत.

गोकाक: विद्यार्थ्यांच्या शारीरिक आणि मानसिक आरोग्यासाठी खेळांमध्ये सहभाग आवश्यक आहे आणि यामुळे ग्रामीण प्रतिभेला संधी मिळते, असे गोकाक आमदार रमेश जारकीहोळी यांचे निकटवर्तीय सुरेश सनदी आणि केंपण्णा मायलन्नावर यांनी सांगितले.

गोकाक तालुक्यातील ममदापूर येथील केबीएस आणि केजीएस शाळेत ममदापूर क्लस्टर पातळीवरील प्राथमिक व माध्यमिक शाळांच्या क्रीडा स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन त्यांनी सरस्वती देवीच्या प्रतिमेला पूजन करून व कबुतरे उडवून केले.

धर्मस्थळाबाबत बऱ्याच दिवसांपासून चर्चा सुरू आहे. कर्नाटकच्या श्रद्धास्थान धार्मिक केंद्रावर हल्ला होत आहे, असे राज्यसभा सदस्य ईरन्ना कडाडी म्हणाले.

बुधवारी बेळगाव येथे पत्रकारांशी बोलताना त्यांनी विचारले, “एसआयटी एका अज्ञात व्यक्तीच्या फोनवर किती दिवस खोदकाम करणार? हा नाटक ताबडतोब थांबवायला हवा — त्या व्यक्तीला पकडून आत टाकायला हवे आणि त्यामागे कोण आहे ते शोधले पाहिजे.”
