History repeats itself!
A Lesson from the Life of Imam Ali (AS), explained by Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenai
What crippled the path of Imam Ali (AS) was the blindness forced upon the people around him. When they could not defeat his courage, his justice, or his unbreakable will, they turned to deception. They polluted the atmosphere, raised the Holy Qur’an on spearheads, spread lies in cities and villages, and committed oppression in his name so that the people would doubt Imam Ali himself. Thus, Dhul-Fiqar was hung on the wall, not because it lost its power, but because the hands that should have followed it were shaken by ignorance, confusion, and fear. This was the first great lesson of history: a society can disarm its own Imam without ever striking him.
Today, the same script is being played again, with different tools and louder noise. The enemies of Islam know that Ir*n cannot be defeated in the battlefield, so they target minds, beliefs, hope, and motivation. They spread doubt instead of bullets, despair instead of armies, lies instead of chains. Their goal is the same as it was in Siffin: to make the people hesitant, to make truth look suspicious, to make resistance feel pointless. This is soft war... and it is only effective when ignorance is allowed to grow. A nation that recognises this deception stands firm. A nation that forgets it hangs its own sword on the wall.
