🇮🇳 *Tiranga Rally | GHS Nichlathara, Gatha Bhaderwah* 🇮🇳

A vibrant celebration of patriotism and national pride as the students of GHS Nichlathara, Gatha Bhaderwah proudly held the Tiranga, danced with enthusiasm, and participated in a spirited Tiranga Rally on 11 August 2026.

The rally reflected the students’ love for the nation, unity in diversity, and deep respect for the National Flag. Their energy and enthusiasm beautifully echoed the spirit of “Har Ghar Tiranga.” 🇮🇳

Today, at about 2030 hours, reliable information was received at Police Station Assar that two persons, namely 1) Suresh Kumar S/o Anchal Singh R/o Ranka, Tehsil Assar, District Doda, and 2)
Bimla Devi W/o Swarn Singh R/o Ranka, Tehsil Assar, District Doda, were carrying selling Desi liquor-at Kanderi-Jattar Link Road.

Acting upon the said information, PSI Ajay Verma No. GEC-245724, along with police personnel, proceeded to the spot and apprehended both the above-named persons at Kanderi-Jattar Link Road. During the course of action, two gallons containing Desi liquor-like liquid were recovered from their possession. One gallon was found to contain approximately 15 litres, while the other contained approximately 5 litres, thereby totaling approximately 20 litres of Desi liquor-like liquid.legal action has been taken as per law

On 07-08-2026, at about 1020 hours, during routine naka checking at Model Naka Point, Baggar, a pedestrian coming from Batote towards Assar was noticed by the naka party. On observing the police party, he became suspicious and attempted to flee from the spot. Acting swiftly, PSI Ajay Verma (GEC-245724), along with the naka party, apprehended the individual.

During his personal search, a black-coloured polythene bag containing a charas-like substance approximately 150 grams was recovered from his possession. On being questioned, he disclosed his identity as Randhir Singh S/o Baldev Singh R/o Ganota, Baggar, Tehsil Assar, District Doda.

Accordingly, FIR No. 28/2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Assar.
