ভালোবেসে এভাবেও সুখে থাকা যায়! স্বামীকে কোলে পিঠে করে বয়ে চলছে মিতালি! এক মুখ হাসি নিয়ে ভেতরে জমে থাকা শত কষ্টের মাঝেও ওরা সুখি দম্পতি। হাজারো ছেড়ে যাওয়ার গল্পে তারা অনন্য! বেঁচে থাকুক ওদের ভালোবাসা!

উর্মিলা ও লতিকা, মা পালিয়ে যাওয়ার পর, কিছু দিনের মাঝে বাবাও ছেড়ে চলে যায়! এখন ওদের একমাত্র ভরসা বৃদ্ধ অসু/স্থ দাদু! উনাকে নিয়েই এখন ভি/ক্ষে করেন দুই বোন! তাদের পাশে দাঁড়ান খুশির ভান্ডার বাপ্পা! সত্যি এই পৃথিবীর খুবই... নি/ষ্ঠুর যেখানে বাবা মা'ও অতটা আপন নয়।

মা পালিয়ে গিয়েছে, মা ছেড়ে যায়, দাদুর সাথে ভিক্ষা করে উর্মিলা ও লতিকা।

আজ থেকে বেশ কয়েক বছর আগের কথা। চব্বিশ পঁচিশ বছরের একটি ছেলে চাকরি পেয়ে জয়েন করল আমাদেরই নিকটবর্তী একটি ব্যাঙ্কে। কোনো একটা কাজে আমিও সেদিন ব্যাঙ্কে গিয়েছিলাম। ছেলেটির সাথে পরিচয় সেদিনই হয়েছিল।ছেলেটি নিজে থেকে আমাকে বলেছিল,

"-আপনাদের এখানে কোনো ঘর ভাড়া পাওয়া যাবে?"

বললাম,

"-ঘর ভাড়া তো অবশ্যই পাওয়া যাবে। আপনি একা থাকবেন না ফ্যামিলি নিয়ে?"

"-না না ফ্যামিলি নিয়ে নয়, একাই থাকব। সেভাবে তো কিছুই চিনি না। আপনি যেহেতু এই এলাকাতে থাকেন, তাই আপনাকে বললাম।"

"-সে ঠিক আছে। তা আপনার বাড়ি কোথায়?"

"-কলকাতা দক্ষিণেশ্বর।"

"-ও কোলকাতার ছেলে! কোলকাতা থেকে একেবারে বাঁকুড়াতে পোস্টিং? ঠিক আছে আপনাকে ভালো ঘর খুঁজে দেব।"

এখনকার মতো তখন আর ওই মোবাইল ছিল না। পরের দিন যথারীতি আবার ব্যাঙ্কে গিয়ে জানিয়ে দিয়ে এলাম.."আমাদের পাড়াতেই একটা ভালো ঘর আছে আপনি দেখতে পারেন।"

ডিভোর্স 'ডিভোর্সের পরে আমার স্বামী
আমাকে একটি চিঠি দিয়ে বললো। রিনা আজ থেকে ৬মাস পরে চিঠিটা পরবে।

'লাগবে আপনার চিঠি।
যেখানে আপনি আমাকে জোর করে ডিভোর্স দিলেন সেখনে চিঠি নিয়ে আমি কী করবো।

'প্লিজজ চিঠিটা নাও।
এটাই আমার শেষ অনুরোধ।

'ইচ্ছা না থাকা সত্তেও চিঠিটা নিয়ে ব‍্যাগে রাখলাম।
শুধুমাত্র স্বামীর মন রক্ষাতে।

(সবাই বলতে পারেন ডিভোর্স কেনো হলো? আসলে এই প্রশ্নোটা আমারও কেনো সে আমাকে ডিভোর্স দিলো কি এমন অপোরাধ করেছিলাম আমি)

'তো ডিভোর্স হওয়ার পরে যখন বাড়িতে আসতে ছিলাম তখন লক্ষ করলাম আমার স্বামী অশিম
