_What is an LED?_

_How does it work?_
When a voltage is applied to the LED, electrons recombine with holes, releasing energy in the form of photons, which we see as light.
_Key Characteristics:_
1. _Color_: LEDs are available in a range of colors, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white.
2. _Brightness_: Measured in lumens (lm) or candelas (cd).
3. _Voltage_: Typically operate between 1.8-4.2V.
4. _Current_: Typically operate between 10-100mA.
5. _Efficiency_: LEDs are highly energy-efficient, with some models achieving up to 200lm/W.
_Types of LEDs:_
