The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of five judges as Chief Justices of various High Courts, as announced in a statement today, December 18, 2025. 

Mr. Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta is recommended for the Uttarakhand High Court.

Smt. Revati P. Mohite Dere is recommended for the Meghalaya High Court.

M.S. Sonak is recommended for the Jharkhand High Court.

A. Muhamed Mustaque is recommended for the Sikkim High Court.

Sangam Kumar Sahoo is recommended for the Patna High Court.
