शायर अल्लामा इक़बाल ने 1931 में प्रसिद्ध मुफ्ती अमीन अल-हुसैनी के निमंत्रण पर यरूशलेम में जनरल इस्लामिक सम्मेलन में भाग लिया। अरब जगत के लिए अल्लामा इक़बाल का संदेश था;
