👉🏼 There are so many traditions and cultures that define India. Our country is proudly called the land of diversity for the right reasons. Those who reside in the eastern and the north-eastern part of the country would be delighted to know that a day such as Pakhala Dibasa or World Pakhala Divas (also called World Pakhala Day) exists.
👉🏼 For people who do not know what Pakhala is, it’s an eastern food recipe made from cooked rice, which is washed or fermented slightly in water. The significant festivities take place in the state of Odisha, among other states.
👉🏼 History: The exact origins of celebrating World Pakhala Divas are not known. However, the eastern food dish was first introduced in the recipe of Lord Jagannath of Puri circa 10. The food item is considered good to beat the summer heat, and to promote it, Pakhala Dibasa's occasion is celebrated worldwide.

Pahala - The Sweet district of Odisha ❤️

Which is popularly famous for “Pahala Rasagulla & Pahala Chena Poda” 🫰🏼

Pahala village, it is called as the Rosogolla village of Odisha and India. For several hundreds of meters, the entire stretch of the village road can be seen harbouring many, many Rosogolla outlets with sweetmakers brewing and preparing fresh sweets.

Cuttack Famous Khatta Meetha Dahibara Aloodum 🫶🏼

♨️ What is Dahi Bara Aloodum :
Dahibara Aludum is a variant of Dahi vada and originated from Cuttack of the state Odisha. It is a type of chaat from Cuttack and is popular throughout India. The dish is prepared by soaking vadas in light dahi water which is tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves. Then adding Aludum and Ghugni to it.

♨️ Who Invented Dahi Bara Aloo Dum :
It is said that it was first made and sold at Bidanasi (old Cuttack), the vendors who were selling near Barabati Fort. The item for widely spread around Cuttack and whole state of Odisha. The dish is now popular throughout India.
