Odisha Government Moves Towards World Book of Records Recognition
CM Mohan Charan Majhi Briefed on Global Protocol by WBR Delegation

In a significant development poised to bring global recognition to the State, the Government of Odisha has initiated the process for registration in the prestigious World Book of Records London. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, was formally briefed on the official world record protocol by Chartered Officer Rajesh Shukla and international delegate Dr. Rajeev Srivastava.
During the high-level meeting held at the Chief Minister’s official chamber, the World Book of Records representatives explained the international standards, verification procedures, and documentation framework required for registering historic and administrative achievements of the Government of Odisha.
The delegation emphasized that Odisha’s governance initiatives, cultural heritage, and mass public participation programmes have the potential to achieve global distinction under internationally recognized record categories. The Chief Minister expressed keen interest and assured full cooperation from the state administration in facilitating the process as per global norms.
