Today, on the International Day of Peace, I prayed for a world full of compassion, kindness and understanding. True peace begins with love in our hearts and respect for one another.

We celebrated this day with our lovable KISSians, whose smiles and simplicity always remind me of the real meaning of peace. KIIT & KISS have been working with this belief, and for me, KISS is a true symbol of peace.

Honoured to meet His Excellency Phil Murphy, Hon’ble Governor of New Jersey, yesterday during the Higher Education Roundtable of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in New Delhi, held as part of the New Jersey Economic Mission 2025.

The discussion focused on strengthening India–New Jersey collaboration in higher education through cross-border models, dual degrees, offshore campuses, and faculty & student exchanges. KIIT -DU was among the few leading Indian universities invited to this important dialogue.

Pleased to share that UNESCO MGIEP and KIIT & KISS have signed a Cooperation Agreement to advance the vision of SDG 4.7.

Through this partnership, we will introduce credit-awarding courses on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Media & Information Literacy, and also launch youth-led community projects to address SDG challenges.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to nurture empathy, mindfulness, collaboration, and critical thinking in young people —skills that are essential to build a peaceful and sustainable world.
Education is the most powerful tool for creating a better tomorrow, and together we will continue to work towards it.

Happy Engineers’ Day to all.

Engineers have always played a big role in building our nation and society. Their work touches every part of our life — from bridges, roads and machines to technology, education and healthcare. On this day, we pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, whose life and work continue to inspire generations.

I feel proud that KIIT has produced thousands of engineers who are serving across the world with honesty, hard work and dedication. My best wishes to all young engineers and students to keep learning, innovating and contributing for a better tomorrow.

Three of our KISS girls – Dumuni Marndi (Vice-Captain), Nirmalya Rout and Mama Naik – have been selected for the Indian Senior Women’s Rugby Team for the Asia Rugby Emirates Women’s Sevens Series 2025.

This is a proud moment for KIIT & KISS and for Indian rugby, as the team makes its historic debut in the tournament in China. The selection of our players shows the strength of the sports ecosystem we have built at KISS and the hard work of our children.

My heartfelt congratulations to the players. I am sure they will inspire many more youngsters across the country to dream big in rugby and in life.

The CBSE National Hockey Championship (Girls) 2025 was jointly inaugurated yesterday by KiiT International School and KIIT -DU at the world-class Dilip Tirkey Hockey Stadium.

With 26 teams and over 400 young players, coaches, and officials from across India and abroad, the championship is being held from 12th–17th September. Olympian & Arjuna Awardee Amit Rohidas joined as the Chief Guest and inspired the budding athletes with his encouraging words.

I shared with the children my vision that education and sports go hand in hand, and assured them of our continued support. KIIT & KISS have always believed in nurturing talent, and I am happy that our efforts give young athletes a platform to shine at the national level.
