Observed during the Chaitra month of the Hindu calendar, Goddess Mangala is worshiped for five Tuesdays of the month, occurs in mid-march to mid- April .The puja marked by fasting of women who pray to the Goddess for the well being of their family.
Chaiti Mangalabar or Chaiti Mangalabara Osha is the vow observed on Tuesdays during Chaitra month in Odisha. This brata is dedicated to Goddess Mangala. Chaitra Mangalabar or Chaiti Mangalabar is a series of vrat observed on Tuesdays during Chaitra month in Odisha. On the day of festival, people worships Mangala Devi.

“Paana” a special kind of drink prepared by mixing cheese, milk, curd, jaggery, coconut, banana and other seasonal fruits cucumber, raw mango pieces or pulp of ripened mango, apple or grapes, is then offered as Prasad to Goddesses. The women keep fasting whole day and drink only this Pana. Devotees are seen thronging the Devi temples or Shakti Peethas across the state on these tuesdays of the chitra month to offer prayers.(Source. From Book)

World Happiness Report India is ranked 125!
The World Happiness Report is a publication of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and is based on global survey data from people in more than 150 countries, said CNN.
Finland has been named the happiest country in the world in the annual World Happiness Report. This is the sixth consecutive year that they have won the coveted prize due to high scores in factors the report uses to measure happiness: GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity and low corruption. The report was released on Monday (March 20), which is celebrated as International Day of Happiness. India is ranked 125 based on the various parametres of happiness

This year's list is similar to past rankings with many of the Nordic countries in top spots. While Denmark is at number 2, Iceland is ranked number 3.[Source CNN]
