OBJECTIVES OF AIMNP:-
Democracy is popular self-rule where people of a Nation, State, Province or Region run the affairs of their Nation, State, Province or Region as the case may be as per their social, cultural, economic and political requirements. However, the current practice of Democracy negates the core principles of democracy due to the “High-Command Culture” in the political parties. The views, opinions and suggestions of elected representatives (especially Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly) are not considered or very often ignored by the respective party chiefs of various political parties in India. As a result of which the various important demands, grievances & issues of different constituencies (both Member of Parliament & State legislative Assembly) are not taken into account by the party leadership while taking decisions. As a result of the “High-Command Culture” and the dynastic politics, the current political system in our country is similar to that of monarchical systems that existed in the Ancient and Medieval Era. The Party Chiefs, Ministers etc. act like Kings or Queens due to the “High-Command Culture”. The people do not have much control over the elected representatives after the completion of the election. Many a times it is observed that the elected representatives act against the wishes and aspirations of the common masses. These practices are against the visions and aspirations of the founding fathers of the Constitution of India. AIMNP aims to restore power to the people of respective State Legislative Constituency and Member of Parliament constituency as the case may be, so as to realize the ideals and visions enshrined in the Constitution of India. The AIMNP shall constitute Public Accountability Committee (PAC) at State Legislative Assembly Constituency level, Parliamentary Constituency level and State level to advice the MLAs, MPs and the government as to the people’s welfare-oriented measures/grievances.
