बिलासपुर जिले में पिछले 4 दिनों से भारी बारिश हो रही है, जिसके कारण बिलासपुर के निचले इलाकों में बहुत से जगहों में जल भराव हो गया है। यह बारिश अभी भी रुकने का नाम नही ले रहा हैं, जल भराव के कारण साँपो के बिलों में भी पानी भर गया होगा और जैसे ही बारिश रुकेगा एवं जलस्तर कम होगा, तो हो सकता है बहुत से इलाको में साँप बाहर आये, अतः हम बिलासपुर की आम जनता से निवेदन करना चाहते है कि ऐसी स्थिति में किसी भी तरह से घबराइये नहीं ना ही आप साँपो को मारे और ना ही साँपो से किसी भी तरह का छेड़छाड़ करे.!

हमारी संस्था द्वारा दिनांक 15.09.2019 को बिलासपुर से करीब 40 Km दूर लोरमी के हडगाँव में और तिफरा के इन्द्रपुरी ग्राम में सापों के प्रति जागरूकता कार्यक्रम किया गया | इसमें ग्रामीणों को बताया गया की सर्पदंश होने पर बेगा-गुनिया के चक्कर में न पड़ें और सीधा अस्पताल जाये | इससे उनकी जान बच जाएगी | संस्था द्वारा ग्रामीणों को सर्पदंश की स्थिति में जान बचने के लिए प्राथमिक उपचार के बारे में भी बताया गया |
