๐—ก๐—”๐—™๐—ฅ๐—”, ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿต, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ โ€“ A joint press briefing was convened today at the Nafra Circuit House, led by local leaders Shri Nichang Jangju (Panchayat Member, ZPM Nafra 01 Block) and Smti Rijanmo Khangriju ( Panchayat Member, ZPM 02- Sirilang Circle) alongside Gram Panchayat Members from Khazalang, Sirilang, and Nafra circles.

The briefing saw a strong turnout of support, attended by numerous Gram Panchayat Members representing the Nafra, Sirilang, and Khazalang circles, alongside key political party representatives.

The primary objective of the briefing was to issue a definitive and unified refutation against the recent corruption allegations leveled against the incumbent local MLA, Shri Dongru Siongju.

These accusations were made by the Bichom District Unit of the Arunachal RTI Activists Association during their media briefing on May 18.

A Record of Growth and Development
Addressing the media, the Panchayat and party leadership categorically dismissed the association's claims, labeling them as entirely "baseless, malicious, and devoid of any factual truth." Rather than allowing the allegations to overshadow the MLA's track record, the leaders took the opportunity to present a comprehensive, detailed overview of the major development schemes successfully executed under Siongjuโ€™s tenure.

"MLA Dongru Siongju has consistently maintained the highest standards of transparency and integrity in public office," the leaders stated. "His administration has delivered exemplary, transformative infrastructure growth that has significantly benefited both this constituency and the state at large."

Call for Official Re-Verification
To restore public confidence and clear the MLA's name through official channels, the Panchayat leaders announced that they have formally petitioned the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bichom District. They have requested an immediate, independent re-verification process of the projects in question.

The leaders expressed absolute confidence that a thorough investigation will uncover the objective facts and completely expose the falsehood of the activists' claims.

Appeal to the Public
In closing, the party and community leaders issued a strong appeal to the general public, urging citizens not to be misled by what they termed "politically motivated and unsubstantiated propaganda.

They emphasized that these reckless allegations are deliberately timed and orchestrated to derail ongoing and future major developmental projects, which are vital to the socio-economic progress of the region.

๐—•๐—œ๐—–๐—›๐—ข๐—  ๐——๐—œ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—ฅ๐—œ๐—–๐—ง โ€” The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bichom District Unit, in coordination with the 7th Bomdila (ST) Mandal Assembly Constituency, has strongly refuted recent corruption allegations made against local MLA Shri Dongru Siongju, labeling the claims as entirely "baseless" and devoid of truth.

The party issued this formal statement in response to a media briefing held on May 18, 2026, by the Bichom District Unit of the Arunachal RTI Activists Association. In that briefing, the Association alleged serious irregularities and corruption regarding the compensation distributed to Project Affected Families (PAFs) under the Arunachal Frontier Highway (NH-913) project, specifically along the stretch from 9th Mile to Lada in Bichom District.

The Association further claimed that fake and non-existent beneficiaries were included in the compensation list, while several genuine affected families were intentionally left out.

Defending the legislator's track record, representatives from both the BJP Bichom District Unit and the 7th Bomdila Mandal came forward to firmly dismiss these accusations.

They emphasized that MLA Dongru Siongju has consistently maintained the highest standards of integrity and has been performing exemplary work for the overall development and infrastructure growth of the constituency and the state.

The party leaders urged the public not to be misled by politically motivated and unsubstantiated claims aimed at derailing major developmental projects in the region.

A recent press briefing convened by the executive members of the All Sajolang Youth Association (ASYA) has shed light on a severe internal power struggle and a deep constitutional crisis threatening the leadership of the organization. During the briefing, executive members openly challenged the authority of the current President, culminating in a formal declaration of a vote of no confidence.

The executive body highlighted several critical grievances, focusing on two primary areas of contention:

*Leadership Dispute and Constitutional Violations: Executive members announced that they officially consider the presidency of Mr. Vinod Sangchoju to be null and void. They accused Mr. Sangchoju of repeatedly violating the ASYA constitution, overstepping his mandated authority, and actively destabilizing the organization by establishing unauthorized, parallel power structures.

*Arbitrary Dismissal of Executives: The briefing further addressed the unlawful termination of several key executive members. The speakers condemned these actions, noting that the terminations were carried out arbitrarily, without any prior notification, official warnings, or valid constitutional grounds.

The executive members reiterated their commitment to upholding the integrity of the ASYA constitution and called for immediate corrective measures to restore democratic governance within the association.
