It was a great pleasure meeting Hon'ble Sri Naveen Pattnaik, Leader of Opposition, today at his residence in Bhubaneswar.

We talked of many matters of the past. It was heartening to note that he could recall all happenings with great fondness.

We enquired about his health.

ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ଆଜି ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଳ ନେତା ଆଦରଣୀୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ନିବାସରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦର ବିଷୟ ହେଲା।

ଆମେ ବିଗତ ଦିନର ସ୍ମୃତି ବିଷୟରେ ଅନେକ କଥା ଆଲୋଚନା କଲୁ। ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣାଗୁଡିକୁ ସ୍ନେହ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା ସହିତ ମନେ ପକାଇଥିବା ଦେଖି ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଅନୁଭୂତ ହେଲା।

ଆମେ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣିଲୁ।
ତାଙ୍କର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲୁ।

Till late hours into the night yesterday, I held Public Grievance Hearing in my office at Bhubaneswar. It is an opportunity for me to meet people from various segments and listen to their 'stories'. Tried my best to resolve as much as I could.

ଲୋକପ୍ରତିନିଧିମାନେ, ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଓ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସରକାରୀ ବିଭାଗର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।

ଆମେ ୪୩ଟି ଯୋଜନା — କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରୀ ଓ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ — ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାର ଅବସ୍ଥା ଆଲୋଚନା କଲୁ।

ସମସ୍ତ ଯୋଜନାର ଲାଭ ଯାହାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ, ସେହି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକ।

ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବିଭାଗ ପାଇଁ ଏକ “ଭିସନ୍‌ ପେପର୍” ତିଆରି କରିବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୋଇଛି, ଯାହା ଆଧାରରେ ପ୍ରତି ତ୍ରୟମାସିକରେ ପୁନଃ ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରାଯିବ।

I fondly remember my close association with him- he worked as my PA for close to 4 years- when I served as BMC Commissioner.

Recently I finished reading Jgyanapeeth Award Winner and Padma Bhushan Awardee Madam Pratibha Ray's Books-
YAGYASENI and MAHAMOH .
Simply enchanting.

I went to her residence in Bhubaneswar today to congratulate her for these great creations and to borrow more books from her. Want to read all her creations in the days to come.

It was a pleasure and privilege talking to her on a host of subjects. How humble graceful and erudite !

1) A Branch of NATIONAL GALLERY OF MODERN ART at Bhubaneswar.

Had written earlier. Have been pursuing.
2) More Financial Support for the Upgradation and Maintenance of ASI managed Temples in Bhubaneswar- our Temple City.

Good discussion we had! He assured of all support.
Will follow up.

In Karur,Tamil Nadu,where the stampede took place taking away lives of 41 people on 27th September, 2025...Today.

Nothing but very poor administrative acumen. Bad governance and callous approach of the State Govt of Tamil Nadu.
We met bereaved families and heard them . Also, we went to the Government Hospital and met 55 persons who were admitted there and slowly recuperating.
Shocking incident !
