An engaging session on : A book published by Raunaq Publication with the 'Lady Don of Tangra' , and Oindrilla Dutt in presence of co panelists , Rita Bhimani , Rupali Basu , .
The AC auditorium at The Tollygunge Club was choc-a-bloc and the president of the Club was there to support the event. An evening well spent in the company of some great people , Tangra delicacies, Lion Dance and obviously with the Good feelings for the book: Calcutta Chinese getting appreciation .Thanks to Oindrila di for arranging such a wonderful program.

CII West Bengal organized the State Annual Meeting 2025 and a conference on West Bengal: Poised to Lead, today in Kolkata.
The conference was attended by the major business captains of the state including Dr Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Industry, Commerce and Enterprises & Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, India. During the conference, CII, in collaboration with Consultivo, released a report on “ESG Readiness: A Study of CII Member Companies in West Bengal”.
said that inclusive economic empowerment for women has always been one of the major priorities of the state government.
Congratulations to Sandeep Kumar for his stellar leadership and remarkable achievements. Best wishes the new Chairperson, Debashis Dutta and Vice-Chairperson Rupak Barua.

As the Vice Chair of the Campus to Career Task Force CII Indian Women Network
I am honored to celebrate Sujata Guin , Chief Human Resources Officer & Senior Vice President at Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels and Chairperson of CII Indian Women Network West Bengal 2024-25, as she led her final program for the year at the Annual Members Meet with a powerful event "Gavel & Grit - Sharp Minds, Stronger Voices".
The highlight of the evening was the launch of an extraordinary publication on Womens Rights & Laws curated by the reputed law firm Aquilaw, the resourceful guidebook was fabulously authored by Sucharita Basu , Founder & Managing Partner & Astha Sharma, Partner & the team in alliance with CII - IWN. My heartfelt appreciation to Sucharita Basu.
This year the focuss was on leadership, empowerment, entrepreneurship, environment & sustainability, inclusion, industry-academic connect, mentorship, health & well being legal .
The program concluded with vote of thanks from Smita Chatterji Vice Chairperson of CII Indian Women Network West Bengal 2024-25 . Much love to her for the delightful energy and joy she adds to all our gatherings. My heartiest appreciation for Anuradha Chakrabarti for her continuous support .
The evening was a celebration of strength, bonding, highlighting the incredible journeys of women who uplift and inspire one another. And last but not the least it ended with lots of laughter, bonding & mingling over cocktails, canapes & music. And yess offcourse the Gifts. So well thought of !
Successful and happy women surround themselves with supportive women and friends who lift and support them constantly.
Thanks to all the Chairs, Vice Chairs and members. Cheers!! It was wonderful working together.
