》Sanjeev Naik Bhandari Samaj Leader tweet wholeheartedly thank each and every one of you who came to support me against the injustice by the Porvorim Police, who sent a call letter at night demanding I attend the station for inquiry!
A special thanks to the Bhandari Samaj leaders and my fellow villagers for standing up for justice. I was summoned simply because I advised Munna to file a police complaint after he informed me that some people had trespassed on his relative’s property in Donwaddo. Beyond that, I have no involvement in this matter.
Yesterday, the police officer claimed I had told a TV channel that I possess all the evidence, which is why I was called in. I asked him to show me the video clip, but he couldn’t provide it! He also pressured my brother-in-law, Eldrich D’Souza, to file a fresh FIR, which we refused. Eldrich had already filed a complaint at Porvorim PS on August 8, 2025, but PSI A. Shirodkar dismissed it as a civil matter and advised going to court, refusing to register an FIR. The next day, on August 9, Eldrich escalated it to the DYSP, with copies to the DGP, SP, CM, and others.
On August 8, after overhearing Bharat Sutar calling someone to send 10-15 goons to attack him and his friends, Eldrich dialed the emergency police number 100 to report the trespass and imminent danger, this too can considered as FIR by Police. The PCR van arrived just in time—otherwise, around 15 goons, including Booky (an accused in the Rama attack case), would have assaulted Eldrich and his friends. Upon seeing the police, Booky and his gang fled, leaving few bikes behind!
The PCR police are key witnesses, having seen the goons running away. Many villagers also witnessed the police arrival and the goons fleeing, abandoning their bikes.
With all this evidence available, why has the police delayed registering an FIR against the culprits until now? We humbly request the police to kindly register an FIR against all the accused.
This update is for my dear friends, Samaj brothers and sisters who supported us yesterday and always stand by us. Attached is a photo from our gathering at the station. Your solidarity means the world!
