Pernem Police crack murder case of Jharkhand native within hours. 02 arrested.

Pernem Police have successfully cracked the murder case which was registered today morning.
As per SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi a dead body was found in the river at Nhaibag, Pernem – Goa today morning. Based on the condition of the dead body, Pernem police registered FIR for murder and other sections and formed various teams. The deceased was identified as Mr. Abnejar s/o Nabin Kullu, age 47 yrs, r/o Naibag, Pernem, Goa and N/o Simdega, Jharkhand.
After only 03 hours of investigation the accused persons involved in the crime were identified and nabbed. One of the accused persons was traced in Maharashtra.
The accused persons are namely 1)Mr Satish Kullu, at present r/o Bhatpawni, Naibag, Pernem, Goa 2)Mr Junel Kullu, at present r/o Malewadi, Maharashtra, both N/o Simdega, Jharkhand.
The murder was committed by strangulating the deceased with nylon rope and throwing away the dead body of deceased in Terekhol river in order to destroy the evidence.
The investigation team consisted of PI Pernem PS Shri. Sachin B. Lokre, PSI Navneet Goltekar, PSI Yogesh Mandrekar and Head constables Prasad Tuyekar, Tirtharaj Mhamal, and constables Sagar Khorjuvekar, Sachin Halarnkar, Prajyot Mayekar, Shashank Sakhalkar, Nikhil Gawas, Shankar Jalmi, Rashikesh Parsekar and Home Guard Kavikant Tuyekar,.
The investigation of the case is in progress with PI Sachin B. Lokre under the Supervision of SDPO Pernem Shri. Jivba G. Dalvi and SP(North) Porvorim Shri. Akshat Kaushal, IPS.

Liquor being illegally transported to Maharashtra seized by Mopa Police.

Mopa police have seized illegal liquor being transported to Maharashtra.

As per SDPO Pernem Shri Jivba Dalvi on 16.02.2024 staff of Mopa Airport Police Station at early morning 4 am intercepted one black colour Mahindra Scorpio bearing No. MH-07-Q-2424 driven by Mr. Rony S/o Salu Fernandes, age 45 years, Occupation- Rikshaw Business r/o Kankavli, Sindhudurg Maharashtra, who was travelling from Patradevi to Kankavli Maharashtra via Banda Maharashtra and found liquor bottles inside the car. Upon asking Mr. Rony Fernandes to produce valid permit/documents/Excise permit for transporting liquor.

The of liquor was found to be of various brands amounting to Rs. 56,400/- and
Measuring 191 litres.

All the above illegal seized liquor along with one black colour Mahindra Scorpio bearing No. MH-07-Q-2424, have been handed over to Excise Inspector, Excise Department, Pernem Goa to take further legal necessary action.

Mopa police team was led by Pi Narayan Chimulkar under supervision of SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi and SP North Akshat Kaushal IPS.

One arrested by Mopa Police for sexually assault on school
girl.

Mopa police have arrested one person for sexually assaulting one school girl.

An FIR under sections 363, 354, 376, 201 IPC and 8 (2) of Goa Children's Act, Section 4,8,12 of POCSO Act and Section 67 of Information Technology Act has been registered in this regards.

The mobile phone used by the accused for sending the obscene messages to the victim girl has been seized by the police. Accused person has already been arrested and presently in police custody.

So also White, Wagon R Car used in the commission of this crime is also seized by the police.

SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi informed that sinc the accused person destroyed the evidence from his mobile, Section 201 IPC is adduced to the crime.
The assistance of Scientific Expert from the Forensic Science Team, Verna Goa was taken while collecting evidence in this crime.

Further investigation of this case is in progress with PI Narayan A. Chimulkar of Mopa Airport P.S. under the supervision of SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi and SP North, Akshat Kaushal IPS Porvorim.
