At a nascent age Sem -3 Shambhavi Bhatt ,Leather goods and accessories department FDDI CHANDIGARH students keeping alive with the vision of their HoD as she always want to keep a multidisciplinary approach in her curriculum, originally from the Uttarakhand valleys -Dehradun she always had an inclinaton towards product design. Recently, came across a resin artist who started her own business and that gave her motivation to discover resin art. So when the outbreak of pandemic took place, She decided to take an advantage of it and started the resin art. From the very start playing with colors was a whole another level of adventure for me. When she started was very cautious and took help of the internet so as to study some patterns until I came across resin artist like bruce rile, who, instead of doing that sea waves patterns played with colours and created magical textures.kudos shambhavi leather goods department is proud of you, keep up the good work and keep exploring beyond told. Well done!

VISUAL DISPLAY

As we know fashion brands need to create the right environment that reflects their Brand to ensure perfect customer experience. Keeping in mind the same thought process we the students of LGAD along with other departments and foundation batch created colourful window displays and interior visual product display. Keeping in track the product layout and focal points around the display room , ensuring that creativity is balanced with the practical requirements of the display/event.
We created our first in-house college display of the year, conceptualised by Dr.Satyaki Roy Sir .blabber and other faculty members for the guest of honour Principal ma'am , respected teachers and students of one of the most prestigious chain of schools in India , "Kendriya Vidyalaya Chandigarh region". The display was designed keeping in mind the array of creative study we have in the respective domains of our college .
It was all together a great learning experience for us, working day and night with Sir,creating bit by bit the entire display.
The Creative display included various posters, prototypes, acrylic paintings,mix media work, paper bags, fashion accessories, illustrations, footwear, masks, origami products,metal works and textile and apparel merchandise.

LGAD Chandigarh announces “PRODUCT DESIGN COMPETATION” covid-19 .The uniqueness of the competition is the dedication to solely celebrate emerging designers and their creativity while making optimum utilization of COVID-19 time. It basis shall be to promote and reward creativity and inventiveness, discover emerging talent and facilitate careers, establish contact and foster relationship and build industry connect.
All finalists will have their work assessed by a prestigious panel of judges and will have their work highlighted through social media.
