With humility, gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, I begin my journey as President of Rotary Club Classic Chandigarh for Rotary Year 2026–27.

This is not merely a position—it is an opportunity to serve, to listen, to bring people together and to create meaningful, lasting impact.

My vision for the year is simple:
to make service more purposeful, communities more empowered, and every initiative more impactful.

Together with Team Unstoppables, we aspire to work with compassion, commitment and consistency—across healthcare, education, youth empowerment, community development and humanitarian service.

I am grateful to my fellow Rotarians, mentors, friends and family for their trust and encouragement. The responsibility is significant, but the privilege of serving is even greater.

NTPC Koldam | Where Cancer Awareness Met Engineering Excellence

Some invitations leave a lasting impression, and my visit to NTPC Koldam, District Mandi was truly one of them.

It was an honour to be invited to deliver a Male Cancer Awareness session under the AHWAHAN Initiative. The audience was incredibly enthusiastic, and the interactive discussion on cancer prevention, early detection, and timely treatment made the session truly meaningful. Awareness is the most powerful tool we have in the fight against cancer.

A heartfelt thank you to Head of Project Mr. Raju, CMO Dr. Harjit, MO Dr. Ram Kishan, and the entire NTPC Koldam team for their exceptional hospitality, warmth, and flawless arrangements.

One of my long-cherished wishes was also fulfilled with an exclusive guided tour of the magnificent NTPC Koldam Hydroelectric Project.

From the control room to the powerhouse housing four massive turbines, every part of the tour was fascinating. Standing beside the colossal dam wall and learning how it holds back a 14-km-long reservoir stretching up to Tattapani was truly humbling.

⚡ Engineering at its finest: • 4 Turbines × 200 MW each • Currently generating around 880 MW during the peak monsoon season.

The absolute highlight was witnessing the live opening of the flood spillway gates. The enormous force of water crashing through the spillways created thunderous sound, towering mist that resembled dark clouds, and a spectacular rainbow—all at the same time. It was breathtaking, thrilling, and a powerful reminder of nature's strength harnessed through world-class engineering.

A special note of gratitude to Dr. Ram Kishan, whose warmth and detailed guidance made this visit even more memorable.

Thank you once again to the entire NTPC Koldam family for an unforgettable experience that perfectly blended public health awareness, engineering excellence, and incredible hospitality.

Some moments stay with you forever... ❤️

A little while ago, my phone rang unexpectedly.

For a moment, I wondered if it was an emergency.

Instead, it was a former patient's husband. He simply said,

"Doctor, I called only to say... thank you."

Then my patient came on the phone. She spoke with so much warmth and gratitude that, for a few minutes, words failed me.

Moments like these remind me why I chose oncology.

Cancer treatment is never just about surgery or medicines. It is about walking beside someone through one of the most difficult chapters of their life—with hope, compassion and honesty.

As doctors, we know that healing ultimately comes from God. We are only blessed to be instruments in His hands, entrusted with the privilege of serving others.

Every smile after recovery, every heartfelt prayer, every unexpected phone call, and every simple "Thank you, Doctor" is a reminder that medicine is not just a profession—it is a calling.

No award, title, or achievement can ever equal the feeling of knowing that you made a meaningful difference in someone's life.

To every patient and every family who has placed their trust in me—

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.

Your blessings inspire me to keep learning, keep serving, and keep striving to provide the best possible care.

Rotary Service Day | Creating Lasting Impact 💙💛

A day dedicated to awareness, compassion, and meaningful service.

Our morning began with Project Suraksh*t Bachpan at Government Secondary School, Mattaur, where over 525 students and 25 faculty members participated in an engaging POCSO Act Awareness Campaign. The session empowered students with knowledge about their rights and personal safety, helping create a safer and more informed future.

The afternoon was equally special as we visited the Old Age Home, Sector 15, Chandigarh, for Project Main Hoon Naa. Through a group counselling session, wellness activities, heartfelt conversations, bhajans, and the Annapurna Day Celebration, we shared moments of joy, compassion, and companionship with our senior citizens. Their smiles, wisdom, and resilience reminded us that the greatest gift we can offer is our time and presence.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated project teams, resource persons, Rotary members, school staff, the management of the Old Age Home, and all our partners who made these initiatives successful.

Together, we continue to Create Lasting Impact—one project, one smile, and one life at a time.
