The only thing stopping you from creating is “you”. Being a part of Cine-Fi Films, the greatest thing we have learnt is that where there is a will, there is way. Having a team always makes things easy but that is not the first step. A team needs to be required and that requires the ambition to execute something.
We are proud to share these stills from our upcoming project that our co-founder has been wanting to do for years. With a little pre-production, a tight budget, a tight schedule, our in house equipment and a strong will we travelled to Bilaspur(HP) for the shoot and what was once on paper was finally on our screens before us.
For the final look of our film we took elements from Fuji 3510 film stock and Kodak 2383 print film. The difference in lighting, a little control over the colours and on top of that colour cast from different ND levels created too much diversity amongst the scenes and frames. So, to counter that pushing the greens towards blue was a key decision as it held everything together and added a nice flavour to the overall look.

At Cine-Fi Films we indulge in every aspect of filmmaking and colour grading is our favourite part of the process because that’s where the magic happens!
However, colour grading a project can be very tiresome if there is no prior motivation. Colour decisions are made in the Pre-production phase of the project to help make the grading process easier and more effective.
For this project “green” was our primary colour and we used “red” to complement it or to create a contrast. We used colour gels to introduce these colours in the frame and our key light was used at a warm temperature of 3200k to cut through the green fill.
